lazarus - thanks for the correction, fixed in all markets. Some times it is baffling as to why one text box in my web browser detects spelling errors and another does not No problem! Glad I could help. Spelling is one of my strong suits and errors tend to jump out at me. Is there a thread dedicated to typos for this game like there has been for other TB games? squee It sure is hard to report bugs that are beneficial to the player, huh? I commend your courage, good sir. Lol I had to do the same thing in CK. It was the toughest thing I've done in a while. :-)

Can you please point me to a detailed change log that describes how invasions were altered? My first game turned into a tedious slog of scouting / bombing / invading a planet with 4 transports for what seemed to be an endless series of turns just to see the planet ultimately destroyed and Un-colonize - able. This made the end game boring and uninteresting. I am not sure I want to invest 4-6 hours to find out if planetary invasion / takeover is still flawed by impractibility and generally "Un-fun". I appreciate your commitment to updating the game. - New Planetary Invasion Mechanics - New Library Entries about Invasion

@mikus - generally, the Invasion skill of your captain, and the weapons you are bringing to bear have a higher impact on invasion. Cory isn't in the office to give a detailed change log atm, but that's a pretty simple description of the changes. Also, the Library entries can help elucidate the intention of how the three options should be used.

What do you think of a highly advanced torpedo that impacts quality less and damage more.........make it further ahead in the tech tree, so its something to work for.....not to late in the game, otherwise its likely the player has a good game going and no drive to get another planet, or stronghold or weakining the enemy while bolstering your own Just a thought

I always welcome more options.

Y'know what I want? I want a DEATH STAR! Yes, I want to re-enact the scene from Star Wars with me as Tarkin and a bug with a wig that looks like Cinnamon Buns as Princess Leia. I want to hear millions of screaming little insect voices as I BURN THEM TO ASH!!!! *Looks at what he just wrote* Y'know what? I think I've been playing this a ... little much lately . ETA: Okay, that totally goes against my playstyle which emphasizes capturing planet intact. Think of the above as a gasp from my Id which likes cool stuff, as opposed to the practical ego which would rather kill all the bugs but leave the planet intact. Respectfully, Brian P.
