As a ST Empires Newbie this guide was very helpful (Exalt!). After reading the existing guide the question I'm left with is what do you use money for? And, how does TP relate to money?

I would to see a detailed description of the GUI windows. I have tried to make sense of them to no avail.
Money is used for maintenance and starting projects.

Xeno ships come in multiple levels. (The hull points is an estimation not exact) Level (grade 1) ships have around 50 hull points and do up to 20 damage. Level 2 xeno ships have around 70 hull and do 30 damage Level 3 90 hull, 40 damage Level 4 120 hull 60 damage Level 5 150 hull 70 damage (only seen dark terror and bull this high on hard. Fun fun!)
Xenos have 3 basic types of ships. (Please correct me if there are more. But I haven't seen them as yet. Even on hard with level 50 Dark Terror) Mass driver. This is an in-close combat ship. Capable of establishing a colony. Missile ship. Designed for long range combat. Torpedoes and colony invasion. Colony ship. These have a simple gun attack and can colonize or invade planets.
The level/grade of the xeno ships is dependant upon how much research and how many colonies the xeno have reached (not have currently). This represents the Xeno's level.
Xenga: Colonizes quickly. Very fast expansion but weak ships and middle economy. Dark Terror: Medium colonization speed. Strong economy strong ships. Tough colonies to crack. Bullish: Slow colonizers. Tough ships, slower economy Red Zorga: extremely fast colonizers. Weak ships, solid economy Jyeeta: Medium colonizers, fast ship production. Weak economy (watch morale if they are on map. Explore gives lots of Xeno rumors) Sidtax: Medium colonization speed. Strong but slow ships. Solid economy.
There are others which I might list after more time playing against them.

As a ST Empires Newbie this guide was very helpful (Exalt!). After reading the existing guide the question I'm left with is what do you use money for? And, how does TP relate to money? Money is used to pay for your upkeep. Every building and ship has a Maintenance cost. that is what you pay out each turn for them. It is also used to build more stuff. TP are trade points and they indicate how much trade is done at thatparticular planet. TP is valued at between 0 and 30 credits per, depending on the political situations. If you have no Trade routes/alliance or embargoes the base value is 12 credits per turn (except Devaltox which is 15). Embargoes makes it so that the second faction listed gets between 1 and 9 credits per TP. Trade Routes increase TP value to 18 for both factions Trade Alliance increases base TP value to 27 for both factions Alliance increases base TP value to 22 for both factions Spy War reduces base TP value to 7 Solar War reduces TP value to 4 Duel of assassins increasez TP value to 17 these numbers are not exact. just the average from me tracking the economy of my games. There are additioinal factors that apply to TP values... such as Spice, colony populations, and distance between planets. These can modify the value of TP in either direction. One note. Onlythe DeValtos benefit from having TP without having an exchange or Prime Starport. I hope this helps you a bit ;>

Or do you want a breakdown of all of them? I might be able to toss some help into this and take screenshots/explain everything if need be. The guide is great, by the way. If Brutus Aurelius wants any help with it, I'd be glad to do whatever needs doin'

johndrameyI'm fine with you submitting pics for the guide. I have been busy with school and sports lately, so I haven't had time to update.

Seaeagle23 I couldn't find any other threads where you commented, or any e-mails sent from me. Do you know who sent it? The first page of this thread might be what you saw: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/8981/4x-empires-comprehensive-guideBut it contains no screenshots. If you have any more information, we'll keep looking! I am working on a expanded game guide with more information about the various screens. This video is really great too: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLay1GrDAMWK7XPdM5ilTHc931UYQAUgdD
