TP requires no population. But when the population runs out of TP, how do they wipe their,,,,,? Devaltos use money. Reichart use old research papers. Javat use mineral order forms. Thulun hire cadar to manufacture Bidet's that pump the tears of the lower class. Steel song use the third page of triplicate military forms. Caveat i know nothing about the setting/factions save what's in the game creation window.

I'm playing to get that Steam review out and wanted to bone up on the rules. When I click on the game manual link (using Google Chrome), I keep getting this message.
Error establishing a database connection
Is there something I need to do on my end?

Can someone tell me how to destroy an alien colony? I have two invasion ships and they barely kill one population a turn, do I need to research the entire tech tree to deal with a single planet? Or just glass the world and be done with it?

You could bombard the world into dust, but that is unsound if you do it to every world. This is what I try to do.
1) Use at least 3 invasion ships 2) Your invasion ships should always be the first thing that you research to improve. 3)Keep in mind your Invasion skill versus the Alien Colony's Defense. Also keep in mind how much damage your ship can do. 4) Bombard destroys Quality and Population, Scout destroys a little Population, and Invade destroys Population but risks Quality damage.
I have been able to hit Xeno Colonies for 10 Population damage inb one turn before.

So I should max out my captain's Invasion skill? My current one has only 4 points, I guess I will try building a ship with 12 points.
Also, is there a colonization technology that always gives maximum quality/minerals or does this only works for the first 3 ships?

And no, only Hive Ships can max out Planetary rolls every single time.

What does 'Maximum Training x' in ship design level mean? Weapon descriptions have something like this - 'Burns 2 AP, Gun + Pilot', what 'Gun + Pilot' means?

Gun + Pilot shows what stats are central to the weapon's effective operation.

Gun + Pilot shows what stats are central to the weapon's effective operation. That's weird, I took this description from the Invasion module, does that mean I have to give captains doing invasions Gun Attack skill? And unless I am reading something wrong, Pilot is a defensive skill.

For Invasion modules the Gun+Pilot is for bombardment rolls.

Do Sensors from ship design actually work? I have built a ship with 20 sensors and I have one with 3... they have the same sight range.
