I adore this little Thulun vs. Rychart battle. If either of you elect to join up on the ST2 crew, I'd love to work with you personally to immortalize this war of words as a Officer, Captain or Contact! =)
(So, Pang and I have discussed this, and there's just to much on our plate right now. I have, however, typed up a short summary of our RP characters:P It's not much, but still a template, if anything. Do what you will with it. Neither of us honestly care what happens to our characters, because it's really just a fun little thing we do every so often.)
Admiral Reinhold Dumont
I’m Admiral Reinhold Dumont, born on Limibic Altak and raised on Ursae-Thulun. My parents died during a Solar War between House Thulun and the Cadar Syndicate, leaving me their sizeable estate near the local academy. After years of studying from their library, this was were I enrolled to become a cadet in the Thulun military. Graduating at the top of my class, a member of the royal court quickly approached me and offered to sponsor my career. Now, with the rank of ____ (Didn have the game open, or remembered this. It was a decently high rank, though:P) and the money to support it, I began my service to the Thulun people.
The peek of my military career was when a Solar War broke out between Clan Javat and House Thulun. My assisstance had been requested in breaking a blockade that had been formed above Galantia which had previously proved difficult to penetrate. We charged towards the enemies positions, but they quickly cut down several of our captains. In fact, I was the only remaining Thulun officer on the Eastern flank after our Admiral died trying to flee with his crew. This was where me and my crew held off three Javat military vessels, capturing two of the opposing cpatains. The royal court then requested my presence on Hydri-Thulon Prime, where they awarded me the rank of Admiral for servives rendered.
I further earned this rank through several more feats in said Solar War, making quite popular among my comrades. Several years after this, though, I was admittedly depressed and lonely. Most of my days were spent drowing out these sorrows any nearby spice hall. Soon, however, I was approached by a women named Jade Reeves who asked if she might have a drink with me. Instantly, I fell in love. We talked for several hours until Jade invited me to a local festival, which turned into a magnificent evening for the both of us.
We would meet several times more over the next year or two, cherishing each moment with great jubilence. Eventually, I invited her to take residence on my flagship, the Royal Sparrow, and she immiedietly accepted. Together we traveled the galaxy. Fought pirates and smugglers who crossed our paths. Oh, it was amazing. Then, one day, she just disappeared. My crew can attest to how worried this made me, as I had been ignoring another Solar War between Javat and Thulun in my search for Jade.
Soon, however, Thulun requested that I return to my duties and sent me to investigate a disturbance over Zu Chong-Zhi. Seven Javat vessels were waiting in ambush for my arrival, led by an Admiral which I never cared to recognize. How had they set such a trap, you might ask? Jade had been a Javat spy, trying to gain intelligence from me. When her superiors believed my usefulness had ended, she helped them lead me into this. In a blind rage, I charged at the enemy with alarming efficiency, tearing each ship apart as we passed. A massive battle erupted when the Sparrow reached the enemies flagship and I found Jade cowering in their bridge. She weeped, trying to explain why she had betrayed me, but I refused to listen. Instead, I viciously murdered her.
I told the court everything that had happened, including Reeves involvement. They sympathized with me and agreed to officailly say that she had died during a pirate attack on a trade vessel. The realization of what I had done came soon after this. I hid my my quarters for days upon days. Nothing, not even my closest friend, Pang Salvian, could pull me out of this pit of regret.
That was when a Javat military vessel came upon the Royal Sparrow and attempted to subdue us. All of my anger, grief, and pain suddenly became a sullen disdain for everyone and everything Javat. After crushing the enemies hull, and executing all of their crew, I made it my lifes goal to slaughter any and all Javat I came across. My objective? Make them feel my pain. For I had come to the conclusion that this is what they all deserved.
It should be fairly obvious what I do nowadays. Recently, though, I have been spending more time with Salvian, getting drunk at the De Valtos Prime spice hall. It’s a nice break from my usual tasks, or listening to the Thulun court’s threats over these.

Admiral Pang Salvian
I am Admiral Pang Salvian of Syndicate Rychart. Born and raised by a widely known and respected family on Baza Prime, it was easy to get into one of th top military academies. My parents protested, of course, wanting me to enter a life of politics. Rychart, however, already had many great leader, and needed more of a backbone if it was to gain any real power in the universe. Like Reinhold, I graduated at the top of my class, but was immiedietly given the rank of Admiral due to my families place in society.
This, I dispised. How could one claim to be an Admiral of a Syndicate yet lack the true experience of the average first mate!? Quickly, I began my service to Rychart by participating in numerous wars. Two Solar Wars, seven Trade Wars, and one uprising on Descidious-C later, both my peer and I were finally able to recognize this. Reinhold Dumont approached me soon after these, saying he would tell the Thulun court of my achievments and put me in their favor. We became instant friends.
Unlike Dumont, though, there was no real peek to my career. While my skills far surpass that of any other Syndicate captain, these have never been tested in any harsh way.
A more personal dilemma occured when my friend lost his lover, Jade Reeve. They were perfect together, in every way, but she had died during a pirate attack on a trade vessel she was traveling on. This broke Dumont. Not only did he shut himself away, but returned with a genocidal hatred for Javat. Over the years, I was forced to juggle between my friends pain and the syndicate’s constant requests to deal with the politcal turmoil his attacks caused. Not fun, I can tell you.
Nowadays, I spend days at the De Valtos spice hall, like Dumont said, or dealing with the various conflicts Rychart deals with on a daily basis. Currently, I only truly favor Rychart. I still hold a soft spot for Cadar, and use to for Javat. Why don´t I anymore? Dumont.
