I've just noticed incorrect number of needed/available patches while repairing damaged ship in the Docks. As you can see, I need 9 Keel Repairs whereas only 2 should be available; and I need 1 Long Gun whereas 3 should be available: Despite this, I can buy 9 Keel Repairs: And only 1 Long Gun is available: Age of Pirates FREE 1.1.37 Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean

grzechol - I am not sure I understand the bug report. A Dock only has a certain number of available repair points. There is no guarantee they have the supplies to fix your ship 100%.

There is no guarantee they have the supplies to fix your ship 100%. I agree. But they have the supplies... Even if they don't They claim they have only 2 Keel Repairs ("Avail: 2"), but I'm able to purchase 9* (exactly the quantity I need). How possibly can I purchase more items that store possesses? And they claim they have 3 Long Guns ("Avail 3" - I need 1). So there should be 3 Long Guns on the market side and I should be able to purchase 1. Instead there is only 1 Long Gun on the market side. Please take a look at the screenshots again and compare declared quantities (Avail) with actual quantities. _________ * On the screenshot: "Our Ship 8", "Markets 1" - "Purchase 8 units of Keel Repairs for 3s 37c each".

grzechol - then it seems like a labeling issue in the screen where you can pick how many you want? Is perhaps "Markets" the wrong word? We can't make that slider show how many there are (3) if you can only purchase a smaller number (1).

If there are 256 Ship Rations in the Market, and I have free cargo space for 10 units only, there is an information "Markets 256" but I can buy only 10. I expect the same behavior when purchasing ship repairs.
Also, I can't buy 50 Ship Rations when there are only 10 available in the Market, can I? But I can purchase 9 Keel Repairs despite information "Avail: 2"
Maybe I don't understand description in Docks. But "Avail: 2" means for me "we have 2 units of this", then I click this item and I can buy 9 units... How?

Maybe there should be two separate bug reports:
1. You can always purchase as many ship repairs as you need. There's information at the Docks how many items they have, but you can purchase more (if you need).
My example: Keel Repairs - "Need: 9" "Avail: 2" - which means (for me): you need 9 units of Keel Repairs, but we have only 2. But actually I can buy 9 units. That's obviously wrong - you can never buy more items that are available at the shop.
2. Information about quantity on the market side works differently when purchasing goods at the Market comparing to purchasing ship repairs at the Docks.
At the Market: There are available 50 units of sth - you have enough cargo space for only 20 units. So you got information (in the purchase screen): "Markets 50" which means: there are 50 items at the shop. But moving slider to the very right means buying 20 units, so 30 units remains at the market.
At the Docks: There are available 3 units of ship repairs (my example: Long Guns) - you need only 1 to fix your ship. So you got information (in the purchase screen): "Markets 1". And this is wrong for me - I expect similar behavior than at the Market: information "Markets 3", but you can buy only 1, and you can move slider only by 1 step. 2 units remains at the Docks.
In my opinion current behavior (point 2) is inconsistent, but maybe it's not a bug for you.
Anyway, purchasing more items than available (point 1) is definitely a bug.

What he is saying is that the shipyard claims to have X repairs, but can actually do more than it should.

Ok, I will take this into the game and do an investigation and try to see if I understand. Thanks for being thorough and walking me through it, just still not completely clear. I will take it from here and post back when I have findings!

abysmal: Yes, that's exactly what I'm trying to explain, but I can't... Perhaps my English sucks, I'm not a native speaker fallen: OK, let's forget about the whole story and start from the scratch. As you can see here, my Hull is damaged by 10 points: When I went to the Docks, I saw the following screen: What you can read there: Keel Need: 10 Avail: 4 What does it mean? "You can buy Keel Repairs here" "You need 10 units of Keel Repairs to fully repair your ship" (that's correct, my Hull took 10 points of damage). "We have 4 units of Keel Repairs" (OK, I'll buy 4 units then and repair my Hull partially). I clicked the "Keel" item then and it turned out I can actually buy 10 units of Keel Repairs: So the bug is: There is information "Avail 4" which means there are 4 units available to purchase. When you enter the purchase screen, you can actually buy 10 units. I have a feeling it should be clear now If you still have any questions about this bug report, please ask. I'll try to explain.

grzechol - at this point, its best and most helpful for me to go spend an hour in the game looking at the behavior. Thanks!

The number of available shown, is the number of repair runs that the shipyard can make, not the number of sails or keel repairs that are available. If you see "3 available" then it indicates that you can make up to 3 different types of repairs at this shipyard.

fallen- so if I need Sails, Hull, Keel, and Mast repairs (4) and there are only 3 types available, this means that I can repair three different things, but only to the extent that they have available of said repair? Thus leaving one of the four unable to be repaired? Is it an issue of available labor at the harbor? Just trying to clarify, cause I've wondered about this for a while now...

So what's the point in placing this number below each repair type if the number is always the same at given docks? Does it mean there's no limitation of repairs I can buy? They always have sufficient number of sail patches etc.? Please tell me why there's information "Avail: 2" whereas there are 3 types of repair available: AoP 1.2.1 Elite GPlay / Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) with Android 4.1.2
