Actually... I'm thinking colonize planet with javat, move hives south and have both scan. Have one scan south and the other scan south east maybe? I just remembered that all starting hives are pretty much unlimited waterfuel and hull so a single t1 scan before colonizing won't hurt.

Haha, awesome to see so much activity in the thread. Looks like slayernz wants to be in the Javat camp while En1gma wants to work with Thulun. So far it seems like things could work out well enough to institute a ruling council style voting system. Any takers for Steel Song? They are the strongest militarily speaking, after all.  Any interest in joining a house Officer Genious, fallen, xdesperado or lixxx235? What about John Robinson, you might be interested in getting in on this little game? |

Afraid I'm a Thulun loyalist here...if I had the option my starting factions would be Thulun, Thulun and oh yes Thulun! All you really need for a superior quadrant is more Thulun.  |

Although I'm a Javat fan, I enjoy SS most in ST for bounty hunting... I shall take up the Song (especially after that beautiful short blurb you did!).
I say the Song would like a front line planet as we are not as soft as flimsy Thulun or hole-digging Javat. We are strong, and will honor our Song!

I have a feeling we're gonna really morph into something complex here ... and that's not necessarily a bad thing. As you saw from even the first few posts, it wasn't just a matter of "do one action only for this turn". Instead, some wanted you to colonize the first star, another wanted you to go scout, a third wanted you to go explore a little more. That's exactly what it's gonna be with two fantastic powerful, autonomous and intelligent factions ... oh and Steel Song too. As clans, we're gonna pull and push you in all sorts of directions and you're going to be a pretzel in the end  All for one and one for Javat, one for Thulun, and the scraps for that other clan |

I think I will join the cat in the Javat camp. I might be a military Captain as a rule, but that doesn't preclude my hate of the Song. The Thulun can go take a long walk out of a short airlock for all I care. The only Clan I like are the Javat.

You watch who you're talking about- who do you think will be building anything worth looking at in this quadrant? I hear that basic anthills have better layouts than some Javat hovels. Smell better, too.
