Ahem... I represent the Independant Union Coalition of Unity. Yay Independants!!! (Everyone in the room stares and shifts awkwardly) Let's just pretend he isn't here and maybe the silly peasant will go away? /I kid of course. ;D I just had a mental image of the Union Leader of Unionized Quisong (I think, I forgot!!) showing up with everyone else in these rich expensive clothes and the Leader is in a plain suit...)

Bah, you stuck up clans need to stop pumping out hot air and remember that we are on a MISSION here. Oh, and later on we'll need to start voting on research and politics. We need to develop the capabilities of our shipyards and roll out the mighty Song BATTLECRUISERS!

An Auspicious Beginning Those Javat boys, they love them holes. I see ‘em pouring in by the bucket loads. Can’t complain too much though, they always bring the ore when you need it. -Uncredited, Thulunian factory foreman Damnation and hellfire! Our hive was selected to accompany these fools on their bleeding campaign. Campaign! Suicide mission, more like. Don’t got a choice about it though, so might as well make the best of it. Today at the session I was able to convince the others that the single world we’ve spotted, dubbed Excanium, should be given over to the clan. The rationale was simple, it’s a mineral rich world and any holding action is going to need minerals to feed the forges. We set course for the world immediately, and will christen it Javat Prime[/b]. While we set up industry the fleet has been ordered to scour the surrounding sector of space, identifying any habitable planets and collecting intelligence for our next move. The next council will be called upon establishment of the Javat Prime. Until next time, Jorge Bobson signing off. ---------- So the first planet goes to Javat, we send off the Javat Hive to grab it on the first turn while spreading the fleet out a bit to get some info on the sector. I push one off the defenders off to the east side of the map to try and open up the map while pushing the rest of the fleet generally south. The scout moves to the anomaly and gets a really great (but ultimately wasted) artifact which gives 10CP to Javat Prime. Since Javat Prime can’t have anything in its construction queue it’ll just convert it to credits though (right fallen?). Since I was told to give the planet to Javat I figured the first order of business should be getting a mine up and running, so I queue up a mine and move the fleet around a bit more. Over the next two turns I uncover 4 new planets and another anomaly gets scouted, which gives Javat Prime another 10CP and allows us to finish the mine. So, as things stand, the map looks like this; and Javat Prime looks like this; So, the planets we found are; - Traggath which is a 2-20 mineral / 8-26 quality planet just south of Javat Prime.
- Epsilon Ring which is a 2-20 mineral / 8-26 quality planet just west of Javat Prime
- Salveria which is a 2-8 mineral / 7-25 quality planet to the north east of Javat Prime
- Tennath which is a 5-9 mineral / 11-29 quality planet that is the northernmost planet
I tried to bring the colony hives back towards Javat Prime, so they are in easy striking difference of all four planets. We have a couple things to decide, so here’s where the votes come! THE VOTING POINTS - What should we build on Javat Prime? We got 1 mine up and running, should we go for another?
- Which planets should we colonize and with whom?
- Should the fleet refuel or keep scouting about? They have about 50% fuel reserves at the moment.
Voting starts now, you got 48 hours houses! ---------- Oh, an En1gma, you are more than welcome to keep the discussion here. Trash talking is fun! Your thread can be a Thulun planning room if you prefer, or you can just have a unified Thulunian voice where you only post your final deliberations in this thread. Like I said, ever house is free to run itself how they want.

Lol, this is awesome Can you run this like a fan fiction story and put the result posts (such as the one above) in a locked thread that has no other chatter? It would make it more fun to read someday

Might I just say, Javat Prime is looking to be a damned fine quality planet. Perfect for strip-mining!
I would certainly contemplate building another mine on JP. The cash will be useful for the alliance. Alternatively, with only 2CP, it'll take a while to build a hab unit, and I'm always fearful of when the next ship of refugees will turn up.
Fellow Javatians ... oh, and the broader community, thoughts?

We've got enough dough, subsidize them hab units before Javat overpopulates and becomes a burden on us all! And research colony ships soon, we should try setting up some more bases as soon as we can. Those useless Templar (did I say that out loud?) Defender ships are better off scouting our surroundings with no W-F than sitting at home drinking our precious water.
Steel Song's taking that northern beaut with the highest quality! Though strategically, it is best to take a lower quality system with our hives since they produce excellent quality anyway, and leave the better systems for when we build our own shoddy colony ships.
Thulun can rot in a corner of the sector for all I care, but maybe they can be useful for building up mines faster than Javat.

What does the full map look like? We should be wary of the largest unexplored are, that where the Xenos will most likely t.While a few Thuluns getting their unmentionables probed might teach them some respect, we don't want the primes spread to thin.
To my fellow clan members, I vote Traggath or Epsilon Ring. They both have the second highest resource levels and are located close to the other factions, allowing us to cover their asses when the Xeno attack.
Thulun of coarse can take whatever they want. However , Slaveria is the bottom of the barrel in terms of resources and Tennath spreads the alliance thin. Let's hope the bean counters choose wisely.
For the planets themselves, we need to prepare for our brothers(and whatever the other factions are) to arrive from the exodus. I suggest two to three habitats per prime, and then factories and mines.
I also suggest we continue scouting and mark all planets we find for later use, and save anomalies for when we need them.

Call me crazy but Tennath sounds good for Thulun Prime, yes it's low in minerals but the Thulun strength is in production not grubbing for rocks so they need room for factories and habs.
Get Steel Song setup first so they can start trying to figure out how to pitch a tent then Thulun can get going with the real manufacturing.

Seconded xdesperado. We have little need for mines. Let us build the grandest industrial and cultural center the quadrant shall ever see. Besides- when the Xeno come beating down your airlocks, and overrun your FDF, we will be the ace in the hole, churning out ships like a supernova blasts radiation. You're welcome.

And here I thought dwarves were supposed to be great builders. Edit:Oh your Thulun. Crap. It's 1Am here. "Commander where does this pole go?" How the hell should I know. I'm an assassin ,erm a combat trained diplomat not a construction worker." "Commander the waste disposal in the new habitats is flooding again." Damn it, Officer Genious is going to fry us!

Right..... That's what I said..... I smell a yellow and red rat. It's starts with editing reports, it ends with changing history! I'd expect this from a Syndicate, not a house. Even your house.
