Right..... That's what I said..... I smell a yellow and red rat. It's starts with editing reports, it ends with changing history! I'd expect this from a Syndicate, not a house. Even your house. Prove it...his report is right there in black and white, sounds like someone is just crying because they still cant figure out how to organize a tea party let alone an empire keep it up and we'll bring charges of liable, slander and high treason to the empire.

The best part about writing the history is editing out the bad parts. Carry on, lest you be never heard of.

Get Steel Song setup first so they can start trying to figure out how to pitch a tent then Thulun can get going with the real manufacturing. Your not exactly architectural geniuses yourselves. And here I thought dwarves were supposed to be great builders. Edit:Oh your Thulun. Crap. It's 1Am here.

Your forgiven as long as you remember to shoot the really ugly critters with all the extra limbs and big teeth. Or at least throw some rocks at them since actually pulling a trigger might be a bit complex for your stage of evolutionary development.

Your forgiven as long as you remember to shoot the really ugly critters with all the extra limbs and big teeth. Hey wait, you've just clearly described Steel Song. They're not our enemy ... well not right now anyway.

fallen - Glad you are enjoying it. I'll compile all the posts once we get a couple more turns in and put them in a locked thread that I'll keep updated if you like. Sound ok? As far as the voting and trash talking, love it! One small request, when you are putting your vote down can you just note which house you belong to? I can refer to the list but doing it every time will give me a small headache, haha. We still got plenty of time, so feel free to discuss everything and chat around to your heart's content. I'll work on updating the first post with links and the current house rosters. I'll give a tentative vote count tomorrow morning (my time), so in about 12 hours or so. Thanks to everyone for making this a fun experience!

Clan Javat
I vote for Javat Prime to build a couple more Hab Units. We only have 3, and one to spare at the moment. More colonists will come sson, and we need the room for the workers. If it gets overpopulated, morale will drop and JP will drop in net income.

Steel Song
My official vote is to have SS take the northern system with the high quality and have the fleet map out more of our surroundings. When we are talking warships, it is quality over quantity, my rock-digging and minimum-wage working class brethren. We need the space to expand and build factories for our great warships. Thulun would do well taking something with decent minerals and use their oh-so-proud construction to mass produce mines so we can get the real work done.

House Thulun My vote is for a request that we have providence over the planet with the highest quality. We have little need for minerals, and to become the cultural and industrial powerhouse that we are needed to be, it only makes sense that we colonize this planet. Our wealth comes from knowledge, and for us to bring our technology back into its former glory, we will need a planet that will allow us to rebuild the libraries and research centers of our forefathers. We also need a zoomed-out view of the map, johndramey- Thulun should have a position near the frontlines, as our ship building capacities will be of great use to Templar Command. Our warships will be able to work in concert with the SS to hold the alien scourge at bay. This view will ultimately decide where best to place us.

Factions that want my vote(or want me to "join" another and vote there): talk to me on IRC Haha, as you can see, independents are rarely heard, and always ignored. If you search through the forum, you'll discover the cookie jar analogy. IF all of the factions are cookies in a cookie jar, then the independents are the crumbs at the bottom. They are neither big enough to be of any substance, and are so fragmented that they will never amount to anything. Now Clan Javat will happily accept you back into the fold. We're the least toffee-nosed of the houses, and you won't be forced to sit in those "things" Steel Song calls battle ships

If you value nice things that aren't covered in dirt, come by House Thulun. Plus- our buildings and architects value things such as natural light, fresh air, and buildings aren't carved haphazardly into a cliff face. Not to mention our unions are the best in the quadrant- less menial labor, more critical thinking, and opportunities for advancement.

Natural Light - that's cos of all the holes made by Xeno torps because Thulun defenses just aren't worth the paper they're made out of!
