So what are you watching, your favorites, looking forward to next season, etc...? From my name you might guess I like mecha anime. I just finished Aldnoah.Zero A very serious and quite frankly depressing mecha anime. The brutality of the season finale has me still in shock. It's like the writers are trying to one up JJ R Martin's ruthlessness. Another hobby of mine is searching out quality AMVs I found one that captures the mood of Aldnoah.Zero perfectly and is very well edited without giving away any major plot spoilers. Here it is for anyone who might be interested: Aldnoah.Zero - SkyFallIn more lighthearted anime I am looking forward to season 2 of Log Horizon which starts in 9 days It has a different and interesting take on the trapped in a game world genre.

Fan of Naruto, every time I start to get into it though, something happens like losing TV service.

Ghost in the shell is another good one I like. Others are Bleach, Inuyasha, Soul Eater, Code Geass, this list is going to get very long

Anything by Studio Ghibli is beautiful and moving I struggle with a couple of titles, I think one I loved is called Monster City but I could be very wrong. It's probably about twenty years old. Also about that old, one I've not been able to recall for many years, about three or four guys trying to stop a demon (possibly called Kato, looks human) from destroying Tokyo. Which could be one of any number of Manga shows. Perfect Blue was awesome too!

Not anime strictly speaking but fits in well enough is Heavy Metal...absolute classic movie. Another movie from around the same time period I'm having difficulty recalling the title for was ?Curse of the Overfiend had giant tenticaled monsters and wierd science with Nazi's in Japan if I remember correctly...been years since I saw it but was one of first real Anime movies I ever saw.

I watched that AMV; it was quite good. I still have no idea what was going on and I was a little thrown by the cutsey-young 13-16 year old characters in daylight walking around and then switching to an older cast and mechs running around killing everything, but hey, its hard to judge an anime from snippets.

Basically all that stuff is good. Robotech changed my life. Wish there was more High School of the Dead.
