I always felt Khyron had some cat characteristics. Named one that, one time. He totally lived up to it. Failed plans and all.

As a kid, never really thought about Khyron munching on those invid flowers all the time. Later in life, I realized he was a pothead!

cyborgunicorn I just finished Knights of Sidonia. Thank you very much for the recommendation. I'm not usually into cgi, but this was really well done and the story line/setting is right up my alley. i can't wait until season two. I definitely recommend it to any sci-fi fan whether a fan of anime or not! 9.5/10

I was checking over the kick stretch goals, and looking at orbital stations. It reminded me of an anime I enjoyed called Tekkaman. Its had a reincarnation or two, but worth watching.

No one knows Tekkaman? It's cool man, I'm telling you. I watch it in Japanese. The 90s one.

O.k., it's about to get old school in here... seriously old school. Speed Racer... yeah I said it, Speed Racer. Racer X is one of the coolest characters of all time IMO. The English adaptation was great and "an early example of anime becoming a successful franchise in the United States, spawning multiple spinoffs in both print and broadcast media." Star Blazers... "the first popular English-translated anime with overarching plot and storyline that required the episodes to be shown in order. ... it paved the way for future arc-based, plot-driven anime translations." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Blazers I wonder how Star Blazers has aged. I remember thinking it was awesome when it first came out because of the story arc. I really liked Samurai Jack, not anime, but anime inspired. Samurai 7 animai, and Usagi Yojimbo manga. I tried watching Full Metal Alchemist, but couldn't get into it, I'd like some adult main characters. Didn't really like Naruto or Dragon Ball. I liked Attack on Titan and Deathnote pretty well, but my sons have watched it already and I'm looking for something we can watch together. I recently watched the first couple of episodes of Sword Art Online. I'm good with the being stuck inside a game, but the way it is done in this shows makes it difficult to suspend my disbelief. Though maybe I should try a few more episodes and see if I can get into it. So anyone who read all that and wants to make recommendations would be appreciated.
