Ok guys I think my code has finally cracked beyond repair. Just got done watching episode 11 of Lucky Star. At the end of each one the girls sing in a karaoke bar doing songs from other shows. As I'm reading the subtitled lyrics I say to myself this is the song from Doraemon and I was right! I've never seen it before! How did I know? Have I reached anime enlightenment or am I just nuts?

From the amount of Valtrex and plan b my pharmacy dispenses it appears that using condoms is "rocket" science. So anything that helps get people to use them Some people gathered all flustered, but when a customer asks me where the condoms it makes my day. I'm like yeah be a real MAN take responsabilty! |

ntsheep It's a very compelling story and beautiful animation. The guys are not the focus the fangirls make them out to be. More of a side dish. The show transcends the conventions of a sports anime and of yaoi. Easily the best of the season IN animation quality, story, and soundtrack.

I'll probably give it a look sometime in the future. Lots of shows I trying to catch up on right now. Haven't even taken the time to start the new episodes of IBO or RWBY.

ntsheep the core of the story Is Yuri (main character) trying to make a last chance comeback in male figure skating, while being coached by his idol the reigning champ who has lost his inspiration to compete after winning so much. It approaches a lot of intense subjects, such as the age clock in competitive sports, anxiety + depression, international competition /pride. There is so much more going on in it then Yaoi. Thats more a character development and evolution of Yuri and Vicktors relationship. It's a shame the fanbase is mostly focusing on just the BL aspect. There initial physical contact is vicktor trying to figure out how to help Yuri deal with his anxiety as his coach and other things like stretching. Theres a very sexual tension scene that a lot of amvs and memes are using out of context its early in the show and its Victor trying to coach Yuri on how to be more sexual in his ice dancing. I'm actually really annoyed that the fandom is turning people off to this show. The show is Definitely worth watching in 1080p btw. Worth the load time.

Almost tried watching Yuri on Ice last night, but scrolled down and saw that I wasn't caught up with March Comes in Like a Lion... Might try it when caught up... I usually trust my intuition on these things, and between good vibes and your praise CdrPlatypus I will likely give it a go, despite having no interest in yuri or BL. |
