Achievements and Unlocks system Update #82 v2.3.11 Ship Unlocks questions. 1. Will you still create more ships to purchase that do not have a perquisite difficulty setting? 2. When you unlock a ship, are any of them faction specific? For example you complete an achievement but you still can only buy that type of ship from Rychart. 3. If you complete an achievement on hard and want to go back to playing on normal difficulty. Do you still get to purchase the ship in new games? For example I complete "Expert Contractor" on hard difficulty. As I continue playing, hard just becomes more than I'm willing to go a full game with. Will the Galtax Freighter still be available to me on a new game at normal difficulty. New Achievement Unlocks very cool! Difficulty | Normal or Higher | 3 ship Unlocks | 1 available 2 coming soon. | Difficulty | Hard or Higher | 11 ship Unlocks |

Is this a typo? The swordsman only has blades, and evasion skills. Tactics will not add to the Morale bonus. Noticed this on the wiki Swordsman pageJust starting a serious sword / assassin build or would not have noticed. Strength of Steel heals (HP + Blades), Maybe Bladesman Rally was meant to restore (30 + Evasion) Morale?

That is an interesting/surprising recommendation. I am not certain that this recommendation fully considers the necessary value of Sharp Steering to the player on medium to high difficulty early in the game. It is a Pilot Talent, level 1 and pretty darn powerful ... for a while. Very, very much on purpose. I haven't modeled the numbers, but I suspect that any Talent nerf there will have a direct, net negative, player fun impact. Thank you! Player fun impact overrides nerf hands down. If fine tuning is being considered. Peak Velocity Matrix: I was wondering how many dice or percentage this component adds when attempting to escape? Tuning Rep: When you run from a ship battle you get negative rep. I was wondering if reputation penalty from escape could be tied to the relative mass of the ships in combat? A Scout escaping from a Broadsword most captains would think it nuts to try anything else. Naval command might convene a court martial for needlessly endangering the ship
Even Klingons know when to run.

Love this concept. Medical ratings already do stack, afaik. With the Emotion Engine, I imagine your ship would be packed full of people with the Peaceful trait. Thanks! athios for the confirmation, and shared enthusiasm. I haven't even considered trait mutation effects great catch. +1k

Can I stack ship medical bay components? If they don't stack. I'm strongly advocating a change to allow them to stack. Please read this RFE thread, Doctors without BordersIf I equip my ship with these components. Will the medical rating stack? Doctors without borders, missions of mercy. I want to build a hospital ship. Designed to maximize the effectiveness of the, "Generous in Service", talent.Equipping a ship with multiple medical components requires a very large amount of dedicated ship space. Logically this increases patient capacity, the medical rating for each component installed should stack. The majority of doctor talents are centered on ship combat effects. Is there no room for a ship of peace? I believe the Doctor is a little under-powered, this change makes them more valuable to have as a Captain or officer.The foundation has amassed enough funds from generous donors, to build the new hospital ship. Doctors have volunteered to brave the hazards of space, and hostile planets. Living on distant worlds. Crushed by poverty, the desperately sick have no where else to turn. Thanks for the additional matching outfits.
I separate my crew by uniforms. All pilots wear the same uniform, all e-techs another etc.
Then when I pull up the crew manifest I don't have to read the descriptions. After using sort by job filter (which stays on). At a glance I know how many crew dogs, navigators etc are on board.
If I missed the log entry. It's a quick way to know when one of them is missing after desertion or death.

John Robinson Updated with ship stuff, up-to-date weapons data, and more dice pools such as Ship Combat pools and card games. I'm rowing a dingy watching a cruise ship sail over the horizon. You can count on whatever I can provide. Yes not being able to tab text on Proboards has driven me nuts over the years. As far as tabbing goes. I use tables without grid lines. Then copy paste the data into each line/column. First you highlight the text click and copy as normal. However you cannot paste directly into the table. But it will accept the "CTRL + V" hotkey combo As you were saying: Using the tool bar to create a table with 4 columns then copy ctrl+v will get this result. You can force allot of automatic BBCode generation and then twist it too your own designs by directly editing it. Here is a sample of the first line of an empty four column table. Lol well there you go. Will fix! Excellent. Makes the scout great for generating $ early game for diplomats. Means to and end, buying your next ship sooner. Starting with a scout gives more points to spend on your starting template. All the scout needed was an upgrade path for bridge component.

Ah hhahahahaha welcome to the club. Great name I know Rigatoni and Beignet would be great friends. She too was once small, now a 70 beast. Not sure Beignet will get that big ;P The next bigger chew toy for Rigatoni must be a car tire! Beignet is the runt of the litter, probably will not weigh more than 20 lbs when grown up. Little devil is fast, going to get a cat bell for her collar so I know where she is. She loves to play and is driving our big dog crazy.
