Zealot/Quartermaster/Swordsman blend nicely at the moment, but that's partly due to the lack of talents above 8 on Zealot/Quartermaster, so I can get to a pretty powerful combat officer with the mix.

As I play more, finding quadrant size is an interesting choice.
For me, the small sizes 20 - 30 lack enough quantity of landing zones to adjust to twists and turns of the games (but does mean it's a natural type of difficulty multiplier).
With the current game mechanics and features in place (2.0.17), the default map size (38) feels about right for # of quadrants, and the density can make things more/less challenging for the average map.
At some point over this 38 sector size, one would think that sheer size, # of landing zones, and potential travel distance would again make the average map more challenging. Given the restrictions of the given universe size (physical bubble the current map generator works with), I wanted to throw out food for thought/discussion on MAX QUADRANTS.
Summary Thought: If 38 feels more or less the 'optimal' map size, the current range of 20 - 40 feels like the upper end is a little cramped. If the map generator could handle, what would others think of an upper max of 50 (or 60?) if possible. +/- thoughts?

We will continue to support our Android and iOS alpha captains, but the pace of updates will be slower than Steam on most weeks. Thanks for understanding! Mainly playing on desktop, but enjoy playing casually (or when specific testing needed on mobile) on the couch, so truly appreciate occasional updates :-)

Hi, all! I joined Discord first, but I've been lurking here for quite some time, I just wanna say thanks (again) to Trese Brothers for making fine games like CK, ST-RPG, STF, TB. I've been playing those a lot, and right now, I'm trying out STF. I can see clearly that those are labors of love. I hope I can contribute in one way or another here, too! welcome yowid! glad you are part of the forum community.

Passing mission tests using your skill pools will generate more XP than if you use a skill save. No idea of actual numbers though, it came up early in the alpha. I always have a range of skill save talents available though since you can guarantee that the one you lose will be for a $200k payday!! That makes sense. Might be good to add some text to the mission success screen indicating that we gained less XP since a save talent was used.

States started new game, took first mission as 'Return Package'. Went to first landing zone, and picked up package Returned to home planet, but mission was 'missing', as in there was no longer a mission listed or a 'complete mission' button on the landing zone screen.
I had him check the capt log/scores and stats - states he was offered 1 mission, completed 1 mission. Had him check status/cargo/mission cargo, which was empty.
We supposed that perhaps the mission was mis-labelled (ie. was actually a 1 way mission), but he claims he wasn't paid anything.
I guess we can all keep our eyes open for a return package that hiccups like this at game start.

I've think I've got another one: Damien Lumotte tells me that the Hunna are a 'great thorn in our pawn' when visiting for him for the first time - is this meant to be 'thorn in our side'? or maybe paw/paws?

Started new captain, started leveling 4 officers on Frontier Liner crew. 1. Level up Engineer Officer 2. Select Train Job button 3. Scroll to bottom of Job choices, but do not select job 4. Close Job screen clicking on x 5. Crew Screen has scrolled 'down' pics below. Not a super critical bug, but was thinking it might uncover other potential formatting issues due to this behavior.

Several on Discord requested that an exact amount of credits be viewable somewhere in the game, once they read 16.7M credits on the game screen, they would like to know if they have 16,799,999 credits or 16,700,000 credits. Perhaps adding it to the Captain's Log/Scores and Stats would work? Edit: @karma on discord just posted a screenshot of 192.1M credits...

per discord user Raphaire, upgraded Dragoon Cruiser to have second Reinforced Structure. States Armor level prior to upgrading was at 55%, now still at 55% after adding.
