fallen, Found another (potentially) math-related bug. Same game, different contact, offering missions that are overdue at the time of issue. Pics below:

So, found the contact earlier in the game (and did quite a bit of Missions to break into the Mok clan to get trading permits; but no story mode. Started a new game using default NOMAD template, jumped directly to her. Again, no story mode. Both games were on iPad. I'll try later on Mac or Android to see if I get anything different. bookworm21 - sorry, you're having issues with this. As soon as you land on the world that she is on, you should see story content appearing. I'll try a new captain, see if that makes a difference EDIT: Tried a new captain, didn't trigger anything. This one was also using the nomad template, but this time on the default map. I'll try again with a custom template Ditto for me. Have a Spice Trader and Retired Explorer as contacts. Neither trigger a story-mode. iOS as well. |

Wait, most professions have four skill points, but six have six? Crew Dog, Electronics Tech, Gunner, Mechanic, Navigator, Pilot. Is that counterbalanced by weaker traits? No, it can't be how it works, since you only get the traits of your first profession. Engineer: Repair +3 Electronics +1 Mechanic: Repair +3 Electronics +1 Ship Ops +2 The unbalance is especially obvious here. Isn't the Mechanic simply a better Engineer? Or are an Engineer's talents that much better? Engineer and Mechanic are different. Best way to understand is going to the talent section on the wiki by clicking HERE, then sort by Job. You can see the talents available for each job. Also, you can see the max skills from the Skills section on the wiki. Engineer is much higher than Mechanic in Repair and Electronics as you level up. |

So I have a mission to pick up a prisoner and return them to this planet.  When I close the mission acceptance screen, the planet has a mission button on the planet summary screen.  I am actually able to attempt to complete the mission before traveling to pick up the prisoner. Didn't you need to complete the first part of the mission before the mission button would appear on this planet? I have noticed this on other types of missions that are 'pickup and return' since this update (1.3.23). Also of note: I didn't try to complete the mission this way (actually completed the mission), so I don't know what it would have done. Should be easy to replicate, but let me know if you would like me to send the game files.  |

Oh, the loadscreen would be another good place to put the map seed, too.
Gonna play around with making cool seeds from cool number patterns. 😎

Hi fallen , how can I get a new iOS device added to the alpha? I changed phones this week  Try and install through the hockey app. It will fail as an unregistered device. will be an option in the app/webpage to send request to add. EDIT: There is a registration function in the hockey app. EDIT EDIT: From the open hockey app, tap DEVICES, then REGISTER CURRENT DEVICE. That's it! |

Alex Fury in gaining entry to black markets, you can get a level 1 access, level 2 access, level 3 access, level 4 access (higher level access gives you better/high value products available to buy or sell). Level 4 access is needed to sell Xeno artifacts. Upcoming changes to Iron Clad access talent will ensure level 4 access.

couldn't hang the entire time for the twitch stream earlier today (yes, the doctor appointment was fine, in great health :-) ), but saw the broadcast wasn't available for viewing later. kinda disappointed, but understand not wanting public availability. Just wanted to share my disappointment. 😢 But I'll be there Thursday!  |
