These features will be included in the next release, as seen here -- www.patreon.com/posts/contacts-filter-13649102So this has gotten a lot more real! Currently, there are basic FILTERS: 1. All 2. Local And some basic SORTING: 1. By Type Name (Prince, Smuggler, Weapons Dealer) 2. By Name (Calagan Faen, Tuemette, Zoolbab) 3. By Distance 4. By Rep 5. By Faction Stars will also be added (hopefully in this same release) to allow marking and filtering. Are there other specific filters / sorts you'd like? Was considering a filter grid by service type (Intel, Missions, Pardon, Rank, Permit ... but that is a LOT of filters ) Looking forward to the new filters and UI. Regarding additional filters, service type isn't something I would use. Normally, I poke into the individual contacts, as I'd want to know their influence, etc... before deciding on whether they fit my needs. So I think the listed filters are great.

Does anyone know if 'dilly dallying' on the planet after accepting a mission lowers the remaining mission time?
I know that if you do a ship upgrade, time will pass, but... I accepted a mission, re-fueled, traded some items and purchased some items, then left planet. I THINK that the mission time was less (18 weeks remaining vs. 24 weeks <- or something like that). I didn't know if this was the result of lack of sleep, or it this is part of the game clock (trading affects time in the game).
I'll play around with it more tonight, but had it on my list of 'unknown' behaviors....

I'm finding a need to double-check my current missions when deciding to take on additional missions. Most of the time, I want to know how much time is left on Mission A (30 weeks vs. 2 years) before accepting a new mission from a contact I met along the way.
Currently, you have to hop into space, check, then land again to accept the mission.
I can check the Galaxy Map from Status, is it possible to add a Missions button there too? Alternatively, when selecting missions from a contact, perhaps there could be a button to use the same screen space to show 'Existing Missions' (kind of like the Accept Missions and More Missions buttons on the Mission Select screen).

I think it's going to come down to talents. If the Star Trader has some killer talents unique from Smuggler and Merchant, I can see it standing on its own. Shipbuilding/upgrading/trading talents? or perhaps a save talent that works for any mission related thing (Negotiate, Charisma, etc..)?
Just some thoughts.

SMALL bug, but I went to a contact and used the ladder system to purchase Level 1 and Level 2 permits at the same time. After my purchase, I noticed it said the next rank was $1,920, so I was going to buy it, but when clicking on trade permit button, the real price appeared ($31.2K). Not a big thing, but...

fallen , I THINK I figured out what they are talking about (both Android + iOS posts) When crew has gained enough experience to +1 Job, the brown bar will show at max (see CAPTAIN pic below, Level 5 brown bar at max), but I haven't upgraded the job yet. When going to the detailed page, it will show in a blue bar that the crew has exceeded the Level 5 experience, and is halfway to Level 6. After upgrading the Job (and in this case, the talent too), the summary page will reflect the BROWN EXPERIENCE bar that indeed, they are halfway to level 6. It actually makes sense to me the way it is, that the bar will be at max to indicate that action must be taken (because you aren't getting the benefit of the higher level talents or job. But also see their point, since the new ICON thingy is the visual indicator of needing to level. Pics below, I hope this is what they are referring to 🙏 Maybe they can confirm. EDIT: I suppose that the 3rd officer shows the upgrade ICON but a less than full brown bar (directly above) because she needs to upgrade a talent only? If so, it's a pretty neat system, just didn't actually spend anytime thinking about it...

Both versions of Templar Battleforce have now been successfully updated. We had to rename one of the apps and scrub blood all the blood out of the screenshots. Starting that process now for Heroes, hopefully we'll get those updates going again soon! Great news, but boy, they are random when it comes to what is acceptable... Sorry you have to jump thru hoops

I decided to get the largest Cargo Hold 3, and was given a warning that some cargo would be lost because it was smaller than my previous Cargo Hold 1. Upgraded anyways, cargo was not lost. Not a big bug, but picture below:

Got it. Yah, I'm not using them outside of missions so far, but I'm intrigued by the danger reward dynamics (esp the wilderness descriptions). Planned on tackling that when I start playing as an explorer... but thx for clarifying 👍

I usually avoid card game based missions until I get several toss out/re-roll/replace with positive card talents. Also, you always have the option of leaving (to seek medical, repair, or spice hall) and come back if you want. Or abandon the mission altogether.
Not sure I understand increasing the complexity of card games, but would encourage balancing through additional creative card-influencing talents (ex. Level 11 replace card with success card type talents)

good catch, saw your bug report earlier, but didn't connect the dots. Guess I'll put this game on hold til the next release. Time for some non-diplomatic game play.... Bring on the pirates!

FYI, am able to work around it by upgrading talent FIRST, then upgrading job. Weird. Will let you know if I see anything else weird upgrade-wise til the bug is closed.
