Hehehe ... try a Berserker build with the goal of 75% Counter-Attack and 75% Auto-Block. Except for the ranged Xeno, every Xeno attack is essential suicide when you've got Berserkers like that.

You get to start over with your squad, keeping it's current members, levels and requisition tree. As you replay the campaign, your new score replaces your old score, one level at a time. On the second and third play through you will face increasingly dangerous AI and monster types. The challenge rating automatically scales up faster on second and third play throughs, based on your selected difficulty. I love you! How I could even dare that you did not include this already! Thanks for the fast response.

No -- Templar Knights are certainly capable people, but a Xeno is a massive armored killing machine. In ST4x, assault fighters use boarding pods and boarding shuttles so troops can board alien vessels and fight them there. How are those troops armed and armored so they can fight xeno? Nice question! Hahaha Well in Templar Battleforce there is one scene where a Rychart Commander tells you that some cultists let loose 3 skitterings (the smallest Xenoform) onto the city. Accordering to the commander there were 200 soldiers dead before the skitterings were stopped. So yeah, it is pretty unlikely that even the most skilled templar could fight a xeno and live to tell about it when he is not using his Leviathan gear.

Hi there TreseBrothers and fans! I just left you a 5-Star rating at Google Play.
I didnt finish the game yet and I apologise if this mechanic is already implemented, but I couldn't find any information about it.
If you finish the game, what happens to your squad?
I would find it very pleasing when you could choose to start over with your squad, while keeping its current members, levels and the current state of the Requisition tree. Only things who get deleted are level records (f.e. Soldier Aurelius - 8 confirmed kills - Mission Trench Warfare). These separated kills would still count to the total kills made, the info about the missions would just disappear.
That way it looks like all your squad members had wars and fights before, when you start over.
Alright now to the important stuff. If you choose New Game + you will have to choose a new difficulty. Of course this would make even a higher difficulty alot easier. Maybe you can make this new game + even harder by increasing xeno spawn rate, buffing their health/movement. Or you could let the player decide if he wants the usual "New Game Difficulty" or the "New Game Plus difficulty" If someone just wants to play for epic xeno slaughtering or just for the lulz then he can choose the former. If he still wants a challenge for his veteran squad, he could choose the latter. What do you think about this idea?

Greetings TreseBrothers! I would like to volunteer for Star Traders 4X Empires to translate it into german. I have read some of the german feedbacks at Google Play and most of them wish for a german translation. That's where I come in. If changing language in the game is not too many work to be implemented, then I am happy to help you out. baxterr - we do hope one day to be able to do translations. Like many other things, making the games translation ready is too large of a task for us and would take us off all of our real priorities for 2-3 months time. If we ever get there, we will give you the call Alright fallen , I'll be waiting

Viel Spaß ;-) (have fun) I personally can't understand all those people who install an app which is quite obviously in English and then leave a bad review/complain because that is so. It seems they are enjoying the app, but as far as I understand they are having trouble with the english language anyways. You are right - it is stupid to get the app in the first place and then complain about, that it does not support german language. But you will have to admit that most apps are from english-speaking developers (or atleast they made their apps in english language even if it is not their native tongue) and it is not clear whether their apps support other languages or not until you install the app and search in the options. So it is a 50-50 here I guess. It would be really cool for some of my friends aswell - most of them can not speak / understand english properly and showed them some of my games on my smartphone. They liked every part about it, except that the apps are in english, so they won't be able to play them properly. That's the part where I wanna help. Maybe I'll volunteer about other TreseBrothers games aswell, but I thought I'd prefer to start with Star Traders 4X Empires.

This is a good idea. My economy has suffered much because of overcrowded low quality planets.

I started out on 'Insane' difficulty when I was new just so I could master the game faster. I died many, many times, but at least I got relatively quick feedback whenever I employed a poor strategy. Well, even on Insane, a good strategy can be fouled by the Random Number God. now that raises the question: which difficulty could be considered the most fair? So that the RNG does not favor either side too much. Or: At which difficulty is it necessary to use strategy which will not be wasted by the RNG?

Sounds great! Just to be clear -- this staying dead thing IS a feature of the higher difficulty settings. You're playing on Normal or Easy, right? Exactly, I am playing on normal. I know that the Templar may die permanently at this difficulty, but I guess they should not stay dead when you abort a mission (you fixed that bug already) or when you choose to try the mission again at the debriefing screen (don't know if you fixed that already, but I havent seen an update including it).

ExtSD is how android refers to your SD card, I presume because it isn't integral to the device. This is just a random guess, but did you get a big SD card at an unbelievably good price, if so, it could be hacked and actually have a much lower capacity than reported. The device would then try to write to memory that doesn't actually exist and you would get some bizarre errors. I kinda got caught like this, but because I was aware that it could be an issue, I tested the capacity by writing batches of video files onto the card and a supposed 128Gb card crashed at about 32Gb. I promptly raised a case with eBay and got my money back. Thanks for the answer! I bought my SD at a local computer store so I believe it is not hacked (its a small one ny the way, just 2 GB). fallenThe bug with dead members staying dead appeared again but under different circumstances. Campaign: Narvidian Dawn Mission: Enter Roavin Fortress Character: Rinn Barr (from Templar Battleforce) He died within the last couple turns of the mission and I finished the mission anyways to see how it would go. At the victory screen I pressed Retry Level. He stayed dead. Same as before I could only bring him back to life by just starting the mission again and he was there, all alive and well. Trying with other team members resulted in a crash again. Still playing on my Galaxy SII with Cyanogenmod running Android 4.2.2

Hey guys, sorry I've got to correct myself, before any Solar War takes place. I messed up with the names. My captain is an Independent and was heading to Rinze Mining Camp, not Thulun Prime. But I got to admit, my very first captain was indeed part of House Thulun and he was quite successful. My best captain at the moment is a member of Clan Javat and specializes as Explorer, quite on good terms with any faction beside Rychard and De Valtos, Difficulty Demanding, about 400k credits and Level 11.
