I just didn't want it forgotten if that weren't intentional.

I mean, you could liberally interpret it so that profit meant reputation advantage as well, but that'd be a stretch, I admit.

Trait: Turd. Slowly drains crew morale if you have gone more than two weeks from a grav world without a shower.

The bonus only applies to credits, right?

Currently "Inflitrator", a Spy trait says " Intergalactic character of mystery, +2 Wisdom, +1 Charisma and gains +15% profit when selling Conflict Intel to one of the involved factions".
I argue that compared to the other profession traits, this is way weaker than just about all of them. Without breaking the theme, I'd suggest the profit bonus from Intel be raised to +100%. Even then it might be a little underwhelming. Thoughts?

Hmmm... What about all "Rychart contacts buy Intel"? Hmm, I'd like that, but I think there should be a penalty to sales to contacts that don't normally buy it. Like getting only 50% of the contact rep and 75% of the credits (but full faction rep). It would need to be displayed in the UI very clearly if this were the case. But I like this idea a lot.

This only makes sense if mines are in the lore.

Probably only during a Solar War... this mission would involve blockading a given world and getting success cards 2-3 times, but during the mission, the blockading danger level would be raised (with a notification somehow explaining this to the player) about 20% and the ship damage cards would have an additional line of effect where some of your own mines exploded on your vessel, dealing an additional bit of damage to two more components.
In return, the rewards would be generous in terms of credits and probably damaging to an opposing contact.
For an additional measure of fun and complexity, the size/quantity of these mines could be significant enough to require cargo space, using up 5 cargo units and being possible to be stolen if you surrender to Pirates or lawful forces. If this route of complication were taken, there'd probably be a skill check involved for just loading the things onto your ship (Bribes/Stealth/Brawl.)

Perhaps tied to some contact trait, we could have a new mission type where to goal is to provide a distraction for some other not-you group.
It could have an intimidate option (with a potential save) to grab attention while other agents do their deeds. It would additionally have a combat option with an additional rep penalty (always, but a small one) in exchange for +35% bonus payment and bonus XP. You would be fighting FDF so the government + military rating equation for difficulty would apply. Not an easy fight most of the time.
This mission could have two variants. One where you pick up and drop off the agent before providing the distraction, and one where you just show up and cause the havoc.

Orderly protocols even amidst chaos within the general public greatly lowers the difficulty of meeting with Cadar contacts during Civil Unrest. Seems more like a Zenrin thing to me Agreed. I didn't think of Zenrin at the time.

Zendu Apprentice: Familiarity with Zendu rituals grants enhanced genetic memory, granting both insight and distraction: +4 Wisdom, 5% stun chance in combat.
