In Crew Combat, Buffs entire team with +40% Ranged Accuracy, +20% Dmg for 3 Turns and Restores (20 + 0 Tactics) Morale
1. I like the format (20 + Tactics Skill(X)) better. It really makes a difference in readability for me. But I still cannot tell from the wording if the 'Buffs entire team' carries over to the morale restoring, so everybody gets some or whether the Morale boosting is just to the Pistoleer.
2. Why Tactics? Seems like a Command sort of thing to me.

cool! Thank you. And should I be able to interrogate xenos? (I think I was editing my post as you were replying to it.)

When you use it, it should produce a result box, just as the repair and medical talents do.
I don't know whether I am getting records from it stuffed into my cargo, or whether nothing happens. I have so many other talents that fire all the time and produce intelligence records, as can be expected from a ship full of spies and etechs.
I also used the rough interrogation on a captured xeno ship. Should that have been possible?

I understand that I cannot loot, press or steal water from my destroyed enemy, but the only option I am getting after I destroy the hull of my enemy is scavenger or expert scavenger. I want my doctors to get healing the injured, and my crewdogs to get repairing ship damage. Meanwhile my other officers will be giving morale-lifting sermons to the injured telling them how wonderful they were. Probably annoys the doctor to no end, but keeps them from skipping next time we make port.

John Robinson 1 Suggestion: Skip the Expert Planning. You are packing your ship with Hyperwarp Navigators (I like skip off the void too) so you will never miss a tactics save beyond the first week of your life as captain. And there are so many other cool talents to want.

I only have one crewmember advanced enough to have this useful talent. I was on a spying mission, spying from in orbit. I drew a hostile military card. I used Skip Off the Void to avoid combat with the vessel. I went back to spying. I immediately drew another hostile military card. Skip Off the Void was available for me to use to avoid him too. Either spying takes rather more time per pass than I was aware of, or the talent shouldn't have cooled off yet.

Awesome, great suggestions to make these more clear. I have also standardized on healing 3 crew as the default for each. Good, because if your medical facility gives you a rating of 1, then (3 x that rating) is less than 4, so currently we get 4. I'm for letting 1 crew suffer from his wounds rather than have to mention that corner case.

They should have the same wording. But this 'X + Doctor's Skill in HP' -- does every crew member who is healed get this? Or is this the total of the healing divided among those healed? It seems to be the first. I am not sure how we should phrase this. I think: Heals 4 crew, or (3 x Medical Rating) on ships with advanced Medical Facilies. Each patient gains 20 + Doctor's Skill(X) in HP. Heals 2 crew, or (3 x Medical Rating) on ships with advanced Medical Facilies. Each patient gains 10 + Doctor's Skill(X) in HP.

This information is good. But it would be better if one of those 'In demand on X Y Z' boxes you get in the regular exchange was added here. If the only place that wants to buy this stuff is Mining Worlds, I won't be taking any. I don't know any Mining worlds where I have a level 3 trade permit that have either a Black Market or a Trade law rating of 7 or lower. All the local mines are run by level 10 trade law obsessive sorts. Depressing places, for a Merchant.

I don't think this flavour text fits the actual destintations where these things are in demand. It reads like they would want them in High Tech Industrials, and Orbitals, where they don't want them. Try: These ubiquitous devices are in demand on a variety of different worlds, where they are often the assembled into consumer goods.
