This is quite a mess. I am not entirely sure what you wanted to say here, but I will make a stab at it: Brought to Justice Wolf has been flaunting his status as an outlaw, boasting of his 'freedom to do as he pleased'. By forcibly returning the fugitive in chains to Adoro Venatrix, we will strengthen faith in Shalun Law, and set a good example for others who might be tempted to follow in his footsteps.

This text makes you think that it is 'here' -- this market -- which has the legality of 6, not the explosives. This text is worse -- it really reads as if places with Trade Laws of 6 or higher are less restrictive, which is completely wrong. I think that all the texts should be changed so that the first 2 lines line are: <Explosives> classified as a <Level 6> Resource under Shalun Trade Law, is legal to trade here. or <Explosives> classified as a <Level 6> Resource under Shalun Trade Law, is illegal to trade here. depending, when you are in an exchange. Then you can go on to add the bit about whether or not we have the trade permit required. In your cargo hold you want: <Explosives> This cargo is classified as a <Level 6> Resource under Shalun Trade Law. Since the exchange screen completely obscures the Planetary Levels icons, it would be nice to have a reminder of exactly what is the Trade Law Level in this market. I'd change the header from 'Exchange' to 'Exchange: Trade Law 7' (or whatever it is). Black Markets would skip this bit.

The text part of the Broadsword needs to be moved down two lines so it will line up with the other ships' texts. It would be nice if they sorted by price, so you had some chance of seeing two ships close in price on the same page so you could more easily compare them. For the full component list, it would be nicer if the output was 'All the smalls, sorted alphabetically', then 'All the mediums, sorted alphabetically', and lastly 'All the larges' sorted alphabetically. For components we want to know whether it can or cannot be removed, and whether it can or cannot be upgraded. By upgraded, I mean things like 'go from Nav Assist module to Nav Assist Module 4', not 'go from passenger cabin to luxury passenger cabin' since the two cabins are not the same size. Colour coding this would be a good touch. If you could click on a component name and have a popup or something present the information about the component, that would be great.

Do you have a Pirate that knows Barrel Roll on the ship? If not, get one. Better yet, get 2. Do you have Pilot Assist 4 on your ship? If not, get it. Do you have extra armour on your ship? Get some of that, too. How much Pilot and Navigation do you have in this crew. You need lots and lots and lots for this sort of career.

It occurred to me that if screens like this said: Negotiate Skill(57) + Captains Charisma(26) (or whatever the figures are) it might cut down on the confusion. And it would save save me having to exit the mission on occasion to go take a look at the stats, as I wonder, "hmm, I forget, is this the ship with lots of command? or the one with lots of initimidate?"

s/Committed the ship, captain and crew/Committed to the ship, the captain and the crew/ (note 3 changes) s/gainsa/gains a/ But actually, the whole thing needs a bit of a rewrite. 'Gaining an 80% chance to avoid abandoning' is extremely hard to parse. What you want is: 'Has only a 20% chance of abandoning' (or whatever the number turns out to be).

'Zenoch Tradeway' is a bad name, as the place might not be -- as it is the case here, where it's an Industrial planet -- a Tradeway.

First off all, the text says 'bribery, threats or violence'. The choices show up as 'violence' (scrolled off the top), 'threats' or 'bribery'. It would be nicer if the choices were presented in the 'bribery, threats, violence' order. 'Do or Die' is the wrong expression for here. We want her to STOP DOING, or else she will DIE. 'Do and Die' would be logical, but I don't think it reads well. Maybe 'Cease and Desist' is better? It doesn't get the die part, though ... s/if they fail to comply/if Bounty Hunter McDervish fails to comply/ s/we will tear their ship apart in battle/we will not hesistate to tear her ship apart in battle/ s/Our intimidation tactic prevent the need for violence/We shall be able to avoid violence if we are sufficiently intimidating./ s/no Captain turns up their nose/few captains would turn up their noses/ ---> or something. The way it is written it sounds like accepting the bribe is a near-certain thing, and all I meet are zealots who have no problem being insulted by the offer. s/in hope/and hope/ I think it would read better as: Captain McDervish is being well-paid for her actions by the Cadar Syndicate. Perhaps we can buy her off. 10.0k seems a reasonable price to pay for her to abandon her contract.

Ah, I think you can conclude that you play a lot more cavalierly than we can talk Cory into playing, at any rate. The neat thing about this game is that there are so many different ways you can play it.

A recent forum post from athios gave me an idea. I've been assuming that it is a good idea to run your ship with shipop soak up near 200% to get strong dice, same as for other things. Maybe this is a mistake. What I am going to test now is running a big ship with only 4 crewdogs, all of whom have the Safety Protocols talent. Rely on the talent to save you from failures, and, on my HeavyLift, free up 4 crew births. That is how I play. I would recommend it. Ah. Now he tells us.
