torrent of steel and steel and shadow both need some sort of rework like phalanx shield and energy storm got. Right now these talents are the most underwhelming. Particularly Torrent of steel. I think it should be turned into a buffing or cursing attack because at the moment it is on the don't bother investing in list.

fallen now that I know you guys have mobs with a -mp curse I think that would perhaps be the best way to rework Tam's torrent of steel especially now that she has +mp. Mob cloese in she stabs them in the leg moves back a few squares and shoots them in the face

I think Kyera is in bad need of +MP added to one of her talents. Perhaps Smiting Blow or Holy Retribution (my first choice). She can't keep up dragging most of my groups down to it's slowest member. Speed is a big issue especially in Gholla heights.

John Robinson I'm not sure about giving kyera a +mp talent balance wise neither of the healers have +mp. I always give them the first +mp ring I find.

If you find Kyera slowing you down, repsec her for ranged attacks.

I think that's the only way John Robinson plays her... The issue is when all of your characters all have +2/+3mp and Kyera only has the one from her ring. Personally I'm ok without her having one, only because she seems like a more methodical character, and she keeps the whole group from getting ahead of themselves.

Hhaha Hey guys just asking for some love for Kyera. Anything goes for any talent we want some more love right? If I could rub a magic lamp, every character would have one talent they could develop for extra MP. Because you have to spend three or four talent points to get +MP, means you can't spend them somewhere else. I think Fyona and Kyera have to wear more than one hat like Tamilin and Selen so they should get some +MP like Tamilin and Selen do. I would welcome an opportunity for all 8 characters to have some talent that could be developed for +MP. Maybe I should have put it on a wishlist? Speed is just so darn important for everybody.

What is speed? O.o On a more serious note, it all depends on how do you play your game. I would normally stick into a crack in scenery and barricade the entrance.

The problem I have with Fyona / Kyera is not so much MP per se, but that they start all the way at the back when unglommed. This leads to lots of movement all around, especially if you're using Fyona as a front line soldier. To add insult to injury, slap a 2H hammer on Fyona, and after all that shuffling about to get her to the front, she has no more AP available to swing that weapon of hers!

For your play style, Fyona benefits a lot from +MP gear.

Necromancing this thread because I just noticed today that smiting blow costs more sp than any equivalent talent. More than lunge, ssw, hammer blow etc. - should be brought into line cost wise or be buffing like flashing blades etc.
...unless I'm confused again...

Balancing a character with over 100 inputs can be tough -- and taking one thing (like a single Talent's SP cost) out of that context can make it harder to see the effects of balance within the game.
