Had an error today in combat. I was in the I-93 Barrens, right by the Church of St. Arthur (aka the bottom edge of the map). I was trying to move west along the bottom edge of the building when I clicked...somewhere. I don't know if it was the building itself, but I have a feeling that it was likely the bottom edge of the screen.
In any case, I disappeared from the map, and was stuck with the Abort/Finish options, neither of which did anything, despite repeated pressings. Neither the back or menu buttons did anything, either.
I actually returned to the home screen (to register for this forum!), and when I went back into the game, I was once again on the screen, with my move apparently aborted, so things are working again.

Ok, new to the forum. Love the game. Feels like a skeleton, but a damn sexy skeleton. Can't wait for the muscle.
When in combat, if I go to item, unequip a pistol, say, and am given the default combat glove, upon returning to combat I have 3 weapon choices. As if unequipping a weapon in combat doesn't actually affect it. Haven't tried this enough to see if you can still reload, but that seems odd to me. Don't know if this has been reported already?

One more bug found. Started with a new character and running for Vinny on a delivery mission against the Yakuza. I'm in Downtown and the location of the dropoff is at Pivate Warehouse X-541. Door refused to open. I'd like to paste a sticky note on their door and just leave the package on their porch.

@slide8seven - you can hit menu and surrender... unless you are playing on impossible, which will get you killed. that's very strange result... ok--i will look into the BraveStar battle groups to see if any of them are empty. Had you just gone through the gateway one way or the other? Perhaps there is a bug in a region after a "teleport" like that.

cory, i wasnt really asking for the code. but i appreciate it! Im nowhere close to actually making a game. and when i do, i will definately go for simplicity. i have already begun designing artwork on graph paper (not great artwork, just doodle quality) and thats the style i will be using. i want the game to have that old school dungeons and dragons feel to it, like when a bunch of us nerds would sit around and play. i hope that the two color graph paper look adds to the experience. that and..... i cant draw, and dont know any artists who could help, other than the few pieces that have been commisioned for my books and other works, but nothing that would work as a sprite. i was just looking for how to raise my characters AP . not so much the formula, but as in (raise this attribute, raise this skill, get this implant) but again, thank you. you are very open with your work, and im really sorry so many poeple are trying to pirate it. you dont overcharge like a lot of games, and you spend waaaay more time with the community, which we very much appreciate. i think you guys deserve a reward for your hard work. i know i offered to make you a custom walking staff. (stick, stave, whatever you wanna call it) I had a good idea for how to tie it in to cyber knights. i was going to have computer chips installed in it, have it wired up, and maybe even put a few LED's for effect. (no sound effect boards, though, i have not enough skill to wire and program that stuff) basically i want to make it look like what i imagine is the soul of cyber knights. the balance between the natural and the mechanical. i know i said i would ship it to your for just the cost of parts, but since then i have had a computer die on me, so i have just about all of the stuff i need to make it, and the shipping is a minor charge, which i would not mind picking up. so if you are interested, i will work on it in my spare time, and send it to you when its done. all i need to know to get started is about what height to make it. (i want it to be functional) I will post the links to a picture of my own walking stick (which i use almost every day, what with my bad back and knees. yeah, i feel like im 60) to give you an idea of what i am talking about. basically, i am 6'0 even. so i made my walking stick a little over 4 feet. it should be taller than your hand, if you measure from a standing position with your elbow bent at a 90 degree angle. (about even with your chest) that will give you the proper balancing and leverage to make it easy to use. (or bash someone's head in, lol) I like to have something that i can work on that is more tactile, than writing. it helps me to have multiple projects going so that i can switch back and forth between them, instead of becoming bored, or running out of inspiration for a single project. just let me know if you are interested. i don't have enough staff blanks to make more than a few sticks, but I will never need a new one myself, and unless you are some 8 foot giant, i should have no problem finding a staff blank to start working on for you.

Volyren Nightsong Nightsong - Er... So I guess the Knight's Bible is not gonna happen anytime soon, right? I'm currently making an Excel spreadsheet which is based on Maps, instead of lists of stuff. Once I'm done, I'll post it here and maybe you could export it into HTML with additional information. Perhaps Wiki it?

no, the knights bible is coming along great. i just like to have different projects so that i can choose what to work on when i feel like it. for instance, after typing a lot, my fingers start to cramp. that would be a great time to work on the cyber staff, since having to sand and engrave and what not would stretch my fingers and help me for when i reach a step that takes time, (bleaching the wood, waiting for a coat of laquer to dry), at which point, i am usually refreshed to work on the manual again. i am almost done with a hacking tutorial, using screenshots to help with all the hacking related questions. i figured it should take priority since that seems to be the most pressing issue. but i am also nearly done with the different areas, with their shop listings. i havent yet started on shop inventories though. oh, and i am also working on a way to create the "Map". its basically a grid that uses the maps seen in the travel screen. you click on one and it takes you to that area's information sheet, with quest info, shops and inventory. i may also do encounters and what not, but my intent isnt to spoil every little bit of info, so i may scratch going too in depth on some of the info. fear not, a release date is forthcoming.
