Best ship you've found

I'm curious, what's the best non custom built ship you found. For me, the Valgrind Intercepter.

hissrad what are the stats of the Valgrind? Unfortunately most of my ships lists are more than 2 years old (I have one that is almost 4 years old)

My favorite ship of yesteryear was the Royal Class. It had:
20 hull, (medium sized hull means less prone to one-shot kills)
10 armor
40 Engines (meets my 2 EHr -Engine Hull ratio- requirement)
44 Sails (more than 2 SHr, and therefore very very efficient)
70 Crew
100 Cargo (large cargo means longer flights between drinks ... and more chance of getting the $1m for a single run)
24 guns
12 torps

I think this ship even got nerfed along the way because it was just too awesome.


Othrewise everyone's favorite ship is still one of mine for very good reasons:
Jango Class

6 armor
30 engine
30 solar
55 crew
60 cargo
9 torps
28 guns

The perfect gun-bunny vessel!!!

My quick go-to ships when I am in need of something quickly
Javat Templar (rank ship)
Honor of Thulun (rank ship with award unlock)
Devaltos Flagship (high rank ship)


And if I am really bored and need a challenge, any shuttle except the Cadar shuttle. Have you ever tried playing on Crazy in just a shuttle? It's awesome ... in fact, it might even be a good community challenge! How long can you survive before getting turned into goop.

I bought it on Syndicate Capital in the year 259.33AE. My captain Malkom DeValtos has been flying it for over 200 years!

I haven't bought a stock ship since the ship designer came out but one of the ones I really like is the Steel Song Templar (sorry slayernz). Its fast and quick and I like the higher cargo / crew ratio at about 2:1.

If your curious, I bought it on syndicate Core around level 34. By the way, how did you get a ship named after you?

Cos I've been around this forum since early 2011, and chewed on lots of the furniture here until I got some attention. I would say it's because I was well behaved and offered lots of useful advice, but behavior is such a subjective word. Chewing on power cords could be seen as bad ... or it might be perceived as good. somehow. I'm not sure exactly what would be deemed good about chewing on power cables, but I'm ever optimistic.

Carnifex cruiser definitely carnifex cruiser. Which is basically just a better version of the slayernz cruiser

I had a Carnifex Cruiser once, great ship but I lost it when I got almost nom'd by a Xeno. I got away by ramming till my hull hit zero and flew away in my escape shuttle.

You can't take a Space Hive without a hack. Which is bologna, IMHO.


The best ship that I've found has been the Spear Class or the Sniper Class MK II, as the first suits my explorer needs perfectly while the second suits my Xeno Hunter needs perfectly.
