Templars all over the Quadrant would love to have words with whoever named that ship, preferably involving Hydras, Neptunes and Berserkers. Name should have been used on something that could compare with the Omega Cruiser or the like and not a miniature death trap about half a step up from a shuttle craft.

You might just get to meet the one who named it someday.

The Vae Victus is actually a pretty decent ship with a skilled captain. I hate the small cargo hold, but for a starting ship, it was awesome. I still pull it out of dry dock once every blue moon just to reminisce about the good old days. It is my father's ship after all. I can't just get rid of it.

The Star Lance is the best ship I have found for my normal build. High Hull and Crew make it a thirstier ship than I normally get, but once you have a huge amount of Pilot skill (say, over 100) it's manageable. Stats ( Before Upgrades)
Hull: 26 Armor: 13 Engines: 60 (great Engine-Hull ratio) Sails: 40 (it's not FAST, but I don't need to be FAST) Crew: 107 Cargo: 75 Guns: 36 (most guns I've seen on a QUICK ship) Torps: 16

Cory Trese, we all know your father like all of our fathers (as we all seem to have the same father yet not related in any way...) was a templar. You imply it, there's hints, there's the Vae Victus... The one thing that doesn't make sense... if he was a templar, wouldn't he pass on the lineage thing? Or is there like a "I never wanted you involved in this" going on?
