Buy a pardon from a prince of the faction that hates you.

Ooor ... keep attacking that faction until they become so weakened they get obliterated from the galaxy.
This, however, may take a long while. I've been killing Steel Song ships wherever I can find them, and yet they keep popping back up! Like Daisies!

Actually Steel Song is the only Faction I'm allies with! Javat surely hates my guts with a reputation of -108

What can I do to make that reputation disappear? Taking advantage of Trade Alliances and buying a new ship both help. What I'm wondering is, since it's been over a century since the last Trade Alliances between a Clan and a Syndicate, how many new ship will I need to purchase to fix my rep with the Clans (currently -1031,-1064, and -1424, and falling)? I figure I could so far afford around 50 shuttles.

Purchasing a new ship clears the Warrants, but not the reputation. Warrants cause neutral hunters (and indy in faction zones) to become hostile. Dealing with the Reputation is another issue altogether.

You can become friends with all 6 nations without it costing a fortune. you really have to watch the conflicts and only target independents. You don't get as much XP as you do when you blow up ships indiscriminately, but having 6 factions liking you means you will excel at the trading / profit game.

You can clear your Wanted status by purchasing a pardon with any Faction of the same type as the wanted Flag.
Purchase a Pardon with a Syndicate, your Wanted flag is cleared. Now, you probably have huge negative reputation with a Syndicate and if they spot you again you'll get the Wanted flag back.
This is the primary challenge of Dark Nemesis.

Can't buy a pardon if all the Palaces are unavailable.

LOL ~ If I last any length of time I always end up with the galactic A-hole Award! Actually, I'm currently at Adept Galactic Ahole! Seriously though, I've been wanted by all 3 houses but not by all the syndicates, or vice versa. In that scenario I'm unable to buy a pardon at any of the houses, for example. Currently I'm kicking butt with an explorer on Crazy. I'm now up to level 11 and I've got negative rep with 2 houses and 2 syndicates. Steel Song is only -2 and I can bring them back around but the other 3 are all past -100 so they're just going to have to hate me. I'm a Hero with House Thulun though so that's all that really matters.
