CdrPlatypus I like the maps with names from a RP view, however the keyed maps are easier to use. Go with what is easier for you, if there is a difference.

Templar CdrPlatypus. For Zenrin's build order brutus proposed, Hab, Factory, 2-3 Mineral Points worth of Mines, Exchange, then Spice Den and Palace after we look at the system and determine how we are doing on Mines As for the question of map layout, we believe whatever you decide is best. I believe there is one more star to our south. We would like to make a preliminary claim to it if possible but are in no rush to get there. Focus should be our Prime and VoidBeard for now. P.S. torvus would like a Palace ASAP, but that can wait a little longer I think. Just send him some cute girls in bunny costumes

sheff As no objections have been raised by the end of this session the High Templar is awarding the deed to the Theobroma-c system to the Great Clan Moklumnue! *waves fancy paper* ntsheep The High Templar is awarding the Great Clan Zenrin the deed to the Achorth system (sys directly south of your colonies) we need more land for the next generation of humanity and your request is reasonable. *waves fancy paper* En1gma per the Great Alta Mesa's representatives' request; your current 2 colonies will continue to be developed into the next great starship foundries of humanity! The Tempalr does ask that you consider scouting nearby systems and planning for a new colony. Your aspirations to build up for the empire first are noble, but there will come a time soon when new land will be the most necessary addition to the empire. //OOC I've run the cycle, so I'm going to include the cycle report in this same post // *Priority Transmission from Templar Command* Representatives of Moklumnue I regret to inform you that your scouts have failed you once again. Your new colony founded in Theobroma-c is quality 6 / minerals 17 (//OOC What did you do to piss off the rng gods?! Repent immediatly! // It is a glorious day a new Zenrin colony ship has launched and is in route to the Achorth system! Representatives of Alta Mesa a new factory has been built on Alta Mesa Prime bringing its CP up to 6 Although the High Templar finds such frivolities despicable it was pointed out to him that palaces will raise the morale of the general populace, so ALL PRIME colonies have now built 1 (lvl 1). However if you neglect your duties by imbibing in this new luxury he will burn them to the ground personally. *Research report* Our scientists and engineers have come together to unlock HAB 2 (planetary construction 4) They inform me that the following options are now available for research, but they can only work on one project at a time. We do not have enough budget to afford them more staff. {"Seriously get off my back! I can't afford to fund you a new lab assistant you'll just have to take an unpaid intern for Shulan's sake I can barely afford your teams coffee! It amounts to half your budget!"} Research Options: Starship Construction 2, Faction Politics 3 (exchange 2 and trade alliance), Planetary Defense 1 (FDF) , Space Colonization 1 (Starport 4), Faction Techs 1 (Alta, Mok, or Zenrin) The High Templar needs your input on the next research project immediately. He cannot concentrate over the nagging of the research team. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to convene the faction council and determine the next tech to pursue. You have 48hrs. Good luck. This message will now self destruct.

Templer Gundamgoth, I am most put out with you detaining the cute girls in bunny outfits. However this can be overlooked if you express my current consignment of....erm.....livestock in port. Please advise the crew not to open the crates is they value there lives, the..um... the deadly goth vixens inside would devour them. I will seek to sway my council for Starship Constrution 2 and get back to you as soon as we have confired. We curently have no reason for planetary defence but we do need to advance our main form of transport through this segment. I wish you good health Torvus our P.s. the bunny with the pink contacts... be careful she bites. ... and thats not all

At this point, we find it prudent to push for new colony modules, or Faction Politics so that we may benefit from trade alliances. We have no immediate use for starships, and to research them at this point would be a waste of resources. I leave it up to consensus, Templar.

Clan Moklumnue wishes to address the Great Clans.
We have a proposal for you. If our next research project was Space Colonization 1, Starports would be available to build. The Moklumnue also have available an Orbital Tradeway capable of giving 6 TP, which, as I'm sure you are aware, are not subject to the whims of faction politics. The income from our three colonies that have Orbital Tradeways is substantial enough to garner your support. However, because of research times, this is what we propose; Let us research Space Colonization, 9 turns. Then, we begin construction on Spaceports. As I understand, Alta Mesa can have this completed in 9 turns, we can have our first one completed in 12. With the additional research, and CP, we begin researching Mok1. The benefits are as follows; increased population across all factions, increased CP in capital cities, increased income across all factions, and massive income boost from our clan in the future, within 40 turns.
As I understand the current situation, most of your colonies are in very good positions, and we have a peace between us. Clan Alta Mesa and Clan Zenrin are not yet prepared to construct the massive retribution fleets that we all wish to see grace the quadrant. After all, we may be all that is left in the AE.
We seek your blessing to pursue this course to the further advancement of our collective colonies, and to bring credits and prosperity in such quantity that you warn your children about the dangers of drowning in it.
Great Templar Gundamgoth, we of Clan Moklumnue beg your forgiveness for the Scouting Section of Clan Moklumnue. All members have since been transferred to a new Research and Development Section. Lately we have been testing the fact that humans cannot scream in space. Turns out it is indeed a myth. However, without a head, it is problematic. Also, lungs are not needed. Who would have guessed?
May the Great Clans benefit from the ancient wisdom of Moklumnue; Gain credits, gain friends, gain life.

The Great Clan of Alta Mesa is hesitantly prepared to acquiesce to this request, in part because we feel terribly about the poor scouting expeditions resulting in sub-par colonization efforts. We only hope that the offending scouts were jettisoned into space. We are forming a new civilization, not out for a Sunday stroll, by Shalun!
This effort will not come without cost to our budding empire, and while we are racing to unlock this Orbital Tradeway technology. We will be set back nearly an entire year, one that would be well spent researching necessary tech for our existing systems. Should we agree to this, we would expect a few things- after the OT tech is reached, we MUST focus on the research missed in terms of planetary construction. ALSO, when the time comes, we will expect absolutely ZERO dissent when it comes time to research our own tech for the Star Forges.
Again, let me reiterate, this is against our better judgement to unlock this tech so early in our efforts, and we give our agreement with more than a slight amount of trepidation. This is something that may break our entire civilization, and to leave this to a simple majority would be entirely unfair to our brethren, the Zenrin Clan.
Alta Mesa wishes to leave this up to a unanimous vote. This is not an attempt to stab the Mok Clan in the back, but a wish to include the Zenrin in the most important decision made yet in this game- one that could doom billions should the Xeno rear their ugly heads.

En1gma, clan Moklumnue has no wish to exclude anyone. This is a proposal that was made here for that express purpose. We wish to hear your thoughts as well as that of Zenrin.
A solid economy is a solid future. We have yet to find Xeno space. Templar fleet patrols close by. We have time. With a solid economy, we are exponentially quicker and more powerful. This in essence is our proposal. However, if we are to pursue the alternative course, then Clan Moklumnue is listening. However, we see nothing else on the table as of yet.
We wait for our brothers Zenrin to speak.
I hate the english language. The grammer, the spelling, all of it. Where is my damn coffee? Quick or Im transferring you to R&D!

Templar, while we wait for the arrival of the final clan, could you please update this council on the state of affairs? Our current income, research, political treaties, etc please?
Thank you.
