Damn fallen, I caught on to the joke when slayernz first posted that. It was pretty obvious what he was up too.

I just saw highlighted words and immediately said "NOPE!". I've done one or two of those for my bad puns in the past, sir!

Why don't Star Traders ever launch more than one torp at a time in combat? Why can't they torp and gun at the same time?
Why doesn't anyone make jokes about how Steel Song Clanners listen to heavy metal music? Too easy a pun?

Regarding the Song, I think it's cause they listen to stuff like Slayer's 'Bloodline' song. All part of their Templar connection.

ST RPG combat is a sequence of single actions, imagine them as concurrent if you wish, but the game has a design that is action-turn and that's just the way it is designed, for the benefit of the player. If multiple hyperwarp munitions detonate in the same space, their fields cancel each other out -- so that's why you don't see a barrage of torpedoes.

Why do pirates generally have such small cargo holds?

Why do pirates have less hold than I do, but then take more cargo than what can fit in it?

Why do pirates have less hold than I do, but then take more cargo than what can fit in it? One reason is, they don't carry water-fuel. They just drink it all on board. Second reason is, they have an inflatable cargo hold. When they need more space, they just blow some steam to it.

Why are Cadar so fascinated with torpedoes? Because torps are an universal answer. When we greet someone, we send a torpedo. When we run out of arguments, we send a torpedo. When someone asks us why, we send a torpedo. When we find a fly in our tea in Steel Song teapots, we launch a torpedo on the fly, then we go destroy some steel song ships. Torps are awesome, which makes us feel awesome. And to ensure that it doesn't go to the hands of enemies, we have trademarked the torp awesomeness.

Why are Cadar so fascinated with torpedoes? Why aren't YOU so fascinated by torpedoes? They kill our enemies. They kill our allies. They kill our aliens. They block out the suns in an endless rain of doom. Join, or be torped.
