Love this sequence of screenshots. Its like you've gone on a roadtrip and you're sharing your holiday snaps! "Mom, mom, can we have another BBQ tonite? I love the sound of those xeno shells popping!"

Worst. Road trip. Ever.
I don't have a screenshot, but the Status Elevators almost claimed my entire squad. One more turn and I would have lost 4+ Templars, including by best Hydra, my best Scout, My second string Soldier AND my Captain. I was on the last turn of the Scout's Overdrive and luckily had a Reactor Jolt I was saving.
All three floors were falling, and my Engineer had just dropped below her Heat threshold and was able to Manual Vent the Scout below Reactor Shutdown before she bolted past the stationary gun and below the Xeno TP, popped her last Null Field and was able to make it to the last console the next turn, she took two hits from a Spitter and a Siege Goliath marched up two spaces away.
Closest I've come yet to failing a mission, but I STILL HAVEN'T LOST ANYONE.

It's very fortunate that we don't have to worry about extraction on most levels.

Now we're cooking. There's no stopping this squad, not when we can cover almost every single square on every single approach in burning hell. I'm eager to see how much Promethium I can douse the world with on this New Game+

How did you manage that??

I think you can see where the Hydra started at the top of the screen and just burned his or her way down, down down. High level Napalm Talents? They burn a really long time.
Hahah, if you look really closely you can also see a Pyro Turret embedded in the center of the platform!

New Game + with a Hydra that's almost the same level as the Captain (She's lvl 20, he's 21). Napalm Charge 7 deals 30+ damage per square on anything walking through it (almost... some mobs have very high armor...) Nothing gets to the squad for free.
Those are regular turrets... I have a few requests for the Pyro Engineer for the wishlist... They're there to act as a foil for anything that wants to try to approach the squad, as they need to go through the Turret's OW first.

It looks like the xeno just gave up.
And how does Promethium burn in space?

It looks like the xeno just gave up. And how does Promethium burn in space? Oxygen is built in, like with a match head?

I'm just always under the assumption that there is at least some sort of atmosphere on the levels.
For the Ferrari, such a ship would probably have fail-safes in case of hull breach, so at least there should be something to fuel the flames.
I'm actually more concerned with the volume of the Promethium in stuck a small space. At what point does it begin to melt through the ship itself?

Soldier Squad is basically hax... Nothing gets through without paying dearly for it. (Kaldun Hive, second level)

Even the spawn on the enemy TP. They're crushing it.
Honestly I'm not even bothering to change up their gear or talents whatsoever. Battalion Rifle all the way.
