I'm starting to build up my ironman team as we speak, running through the Ferrari Lance and focusing on getting my Hydra builds just how I like them before I open anything else up. I'm actually trying out a pistol/de-buff build for my captain in this squad, so let's hope things work out.
I'm thinking that coupling the captains +crit vulnerability debuff with the Hydra's innate +crit% will be pretty effective. I'm still planning on bringing a piercing fire scout along, though!

I don't have time to join this challenge - I'm confident that the Neptunes will do well, but Hydra tech has certainly improved since TA ... still only good for BBQs though .........

I'm slowly working my team towards the start point, so nothing of huge substance to post yet. However, I will say that my crit stacking idea has been working pretty well so far. Looking forward to seeing it in full effect once I get a couple more levels under my belt!

I'm looking forward to getting more people to the actual levels. I see @rearick is there with his Neptunes. I just made it through the relatively calm Infiltration Site and Drop Shaft and am looking forward to Tunnel Complex. There should be lots of opportunities to deploy some Hydras there. I see there spawn point capping ability as being huge in that level.

I'm working the Neptune Brigade through the early deployments now. Since Spring break will be starting tomorrow, I will have plenty of time to blast those Xeno.

I can honestly say this recent discussion/challenge has raised my interest in playing BF again.

I too am working my way through the early levels. Hoping to make it through the whole challenge in just two weeks-- my 3yo takes up a ton of my time so finding BF time is tricky.
Just want to say that our roster looks great for this challenge: two NMI and a Brutal on each side so far.

Ok 6 Hydras on Tunnel Complex was a little insane, and everyone was still down to 1 or 2 napalm charges at the end. I too am working my way through the early levels. Hoping to make it through the whole challenge in just two weeks-- my 3yo takes up a ton of my time so finding BF time is tricky. Just want to say that our roster looks great for this challenge: two NMI and a Brutal on each side so far. I had the advantage of having a group ready to go when I started the challenge. Definitely give your kid your best time. Games always gotta take a backseat to the little ones.

I am like En1gma's camp and hoping I can finish in 2 weeks I got through the setup and first Ironman level last night. Siege of Tundeer, coming up! A long way to go (7 levels?) before I can start the 10 level run I think.

We could see about adding some time if everybody needs some more. I don't know how I did it, but even though I counted the levels out twice I just realized today that I actually picked 12 levels.
We could just make it 12 levels or I could knock off the last two, though I think Traitor's Bunker is a good level to end on.

contributor - the level section looks really good, I'd keep it at 12.

My squad just squeezed through Tundeer, it was a close call. I got my 2 Neptunes out, and my only casualty was my Hydra ... how fitting It was pretty awesome having two Neptunes blast their way down to the southern gate - at the final turn they both had reactor shutdowns at the same time lol. I am focusing on building up a Scout-Neptune squad. So far, so good
