What are you favorite catch phrase and idioms that you might see each Faction using?
Both serious and joke suggestions are welcome, but you might see serious ones getting into ST2!
Cadar - Through strength, peace. (Alternate version, Through torps, peace.) Rychart - the bigger the hat, the bigger the ego. Zenrin - we are made of memories.

De Valtos:
Prices are negotiable.
Free cocktail wieners with purchase of napkins at the Spice Hall for Cadarian's
If it has a price, we can sell it.

Steel Song: Cardboard is so universal! You can even burn it if you need to. Just make sure you don't set your ship on fire. Fragile body, but heart of steel! Cadar: One torpedo a day keeps the doctor away! Two torpedoes will blast his ship.

Zenrin: We are here to stay.
Mok: There's always something new in the next system
Cadar: A few torps short of a salvo

It may be an area where we inject a lot of flavor text and stories into the game. We have a lot of lore provided by the KickStarter backers and are still finding places to work it into the fabric of ST2. Of course, that thread is also rich with goodies

Steel Song: The obvious, "May your death be remembered by all"
"Sing the hymn of rebirth, return as Steel."
"There's never too many Steel Fortresses!"
De Valtos: "If it exists, we can sell it. If it doesn't exist, we can still sell it."
Cadar: "To hell with words, fire the damn torpedoes!"
Rychart: "Let them believe they have the upper hand. It's not like they know any better."

Rychart
It's not cowardice, it's strategy.
Why play fair? It doesn't help you any.
Facing the enemy head on doesn't always mean you're better. It just means you're eager to die.
Intelligence is the key point in war. Know your enemy better than they know themselves. Too bad it's undervalued to the other factions.

Aliens: Surrender, your death will be easier. If we hate all life, how comes we don't kill each other inside the ship? Simply. Our captain is like a Queen and the ship is like an ant hive. And hive that teaches us to hate all life. And we hate all life. We hate our comrades. And we hate even our own life. We want to kill. We want to die. But it is our hive that manipulates our bodies. It is our ship that prevents us from killing each other.

ntsheep: "Damn it number three!" Darth Cthoras: "For the Sith, Cadari, and the Xeno! Despite the fact they'd ALL try to kill each other." fallen and Cory Trese: "Fixed for next." En1gma: "Nothing better than burning the Xeno in a lake of promethium." slayernz: "Nothing better than destroying the descendents of ratkin Steel Song Clan... I miss the destroy button." ...wait, FACTION sayings... I already named off any I could think of when it comes to that.

Javat: Prosperity is made from sweat and blood.
Thulun: The most adaptable organizations are those that survive the longest.
Rychart: What cannot be comprehended, cannot be defeated.

Javat: Prosperity is made from sweat and blood. Rychart: What cannot be comprehended, cannot be defeated. Really like these two. The Rychart one sounds like an admission to guilt in the whole Shelgeroth debacle

...Rychart: What cannot be comprehended, cannot be defeated. ...The Rychart one sounds like an admission to guilt in the whole Shelgeroth debacle Yeah, I was thinking of both Rychart's tendency to focus on espionage in conflicts as well as their disproportionate fascination with Xeno in this saying, so I think I suits Rychart as a whole very well. I think it's the best out of the three suggestions I've made.

Louis Pasteur said: "In the fields of observation chance favours only the prepared mind."
I like the shorter formulation "Chance favours the prepared mind" better, and wonder if Moklumnue does as well.
