Which Faction is most likely to offer diplomatic missions, Moklumnue or Rychart? According to the Wiki, Rychart is the most politically active Faction, and its diplomats are everywhere; but is that true as far as game mechanics are concerned? ("Mediator" is a common trait among Moklumnue recruits.) At this time, no Faction is offering more diplomatic missions than another. It is based on Contact Type, Traits, Contact Links and current Conflicts. All Factions are, by nature, politically active.

All Factions are, by nature, politically active. Sure, but some Factions are described as being more involved in diplomacy than others: Thulun, Mok, and Rychart are described that way on the Wiki.

De Valtos and Javat have the same zone bonuses (+4 economy, +2 starport). Is that on purpose, or should they be differentiated somehow?

Fixed the overly long motto this morning.
Thanks!

Moklumnue: "Our Trade Network Roolz!" Mottos are shorter than even twitter. Trump would struggle although ... "Covfefe"

Moklumnue: "Our Trade Network Roolz!" Mottos are shorter than even twitter. Trump would struggle although ... "Covfefe" "Make America Great Again" was his campaign slogan and de facto motto. It was a good one, too. (I'm not saying that it was true, just that it resonated with a lot of people.) Trump, however, despite what he said, probably didn't invent his slogan but borrowed it. On the other hand, "Covfefe" is definitely his creation.

I'm still not a fan of Mok's slogan. "Trade unites us all" doesn't seem fitting for a faction that happily engages in trade bans and trade wars.

"Together in Trade" would be better, if a little bland. At least it would introduce an interesting ambiguity, with respect to what this "together" covers (everyone in the galaxy, or just everyone in Mok). I still like "For the Profit of All," too, even if it can be seen as hypocritical.

When it comes to mottos, I don't think the expectation would be that it would explain everything about them. Especially if they're choosing it for themselves. They're obviously putting their best foot forward. I haven't seen a modern corporation yet that says "To enrich our stockholders by skirting the law and paying the lowest salaries we can get away with!"

Err actually, I do believe that's almost exactly the Devaltos vision statement: "To enrich our stockholders by skirting the law, exploiting both our workers, our customers, and our competitors and whatever else we can get away with! Want our grandmothers?"
