It turned out to be trickier than I thought to copy my data back into the original sheet. So I have created my own Google Docs sheet at: docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Auow7FdFfU-LdG1ldzIxeTJ1RTRVeGJGeE8wTkJXVGcI have set it so that anyone with the link can edit it, to keep it up to date. I have also added a column to each sheet for a version number. This is to indicate what version the information in the row has been verified in. If you update data in a row, please update the version number. This will be useful to see what might be out of date. |

Rep _is_ faction based. It's just that each zone is owned by a faction. So your rep in that zone is the rep with the faction.
But Cory is mistaken. Maybe what he is looking at is a future release?
When you take a job from a Connector, he says: he wants a CK who is willing to work against X to do something at a location inside Y's territory. The target location is called NNN. Your reputation with X is some_number.
What the Connector doesn't tell you is what your rep is with Y. And it is what your heat is in Y that is the information you may be most interested in. Willing to work against Yakashima by delivering people to Yakuza land? Sure, but what I want to know is how badly the Yakuza hate me. Since I won't be visiting Yakashima territory they can be as angry with me as they like and I won't care.
So it is only when X == Y that the Connector will tell you your rep in the zone that you will be expected to do the work. Admittedly, that is the majority of cases, but it is not all of them.

Gravling- I wasn't talking about reputation. Power levels of factions were mentioned in another thread a while ago. Cant remember which one.

I'm not happy with not having a Reference Sheet for Cyberware and Armor. Since I'll be doing those I'll be doing an up-to-date weapons as well. I'll be setting it up in Open Office. If there's a preferred format or whatever or if someone else would like to have them when I'm done post it here and I'll see about follow-up. I expect I'll be done in the next week or so, if not in the next 24 hours. OCD + no circadian rhythm = quick project completion >.<

It turns out that life has gotten in the way for me to be able to get to my in depth update of the spreadsheet. My best friend just got out of the hospital from having my 4th god child, and with my being her only support other than her husband, I'm out of my element so my time frame has changed to more like 1-3 months. That, of course, means there could easily be another update out by then. Ahab's sheet has just about everything that I have needed: Armor, weapons, building info, implants, gear, even some info about V-chips. Really much more than that would be a walkthrough.
