Unfortunately, people in spice hall aren't that much influenced by reputation, rather by your intimidate Seems like I remember reading somewhere a large reputation score, positive OR negative, helps in conscripting. Something like how folks flock to heroes, but also villains!

Conscription occurs when you steal a legally signed crew though...

I think he meant recruiting from the hall.

I think he meant recruiting from the hall. I meant to mention both, but sure didn't express that well!

Ormox Military Camp does not have a military type economy. It has a mining type.

Crazy how Rychart hasn't conquered the other factions by now. Then again they're probably waiting for a real challenge lol

Rychart are too busy looking for the next grandiose abomination of a hat to pay more attention to the Cadar torps which are soon to rain down upon them. They're the third largest syndicate, but it's not saying much when you're bringing up the caboose. I think they're dangerously close to relegation, with Houses Javat and Thulun looking to ascend into the quadrant premier league, as it were. Steel Song? Please don't make me laugh harder, I might hit the Torp button by accident again!

And while Rychart and Cadar exhaust themselves through endless war, the almighty Steel Song Clan prepare their imminent attack, to conquer the quadrant. Not that they need to wait, they're strong enough, it's just that even in the greatest odds, decreasing the chance of failure is better. And there's ALWAYS a chance.

"From their early days in the Quadrant, while vying for control, Rychart took a more violent path, and have left a number of ruined feral planets across the galaxy."
That's from ST RPG, description of Rychart. Looks to me that they are more warriors than the other factions. They went from, "Burn them all!" to "Keep tabs on all of them... soon"

Honestly, it's really hard to think of a bigger failure of a faction than Cadar. Their attempt to supplant De Valtos is a known failure. They control no significant territory. Look at their planets, they're all pushed to the periphery on inconsequential planets. Rychart, on the other hand, controls the central corridor of the quadrant that all ships must pass through to get from the top left to the bottom right. All that Cadar has left is a fascination with polishing their own torps and talking about how much bigger they are then everyone else's. So sad.
