So I recently bought the elite version of this game after thoroughly enjoying Star Traders for a couple of weeks. This game is easily just as awesome and with the intended improvements, it could even surpass ST!
I just wanted to point out a quick wish and maybe a minor error.
As for my wish, I'd love to see some achievements. Maybe a few fir each campaign as well as some more general ones.
The minor error I wanted to point out is that the Hydra squad skirmish (The Quadrant Burns) is on the menu twice. Not a big deal, but thought I'd post it to contribute a bit.

That's a great suggestion. Templars does need some type of Awards and Badges, as well as more "scoring" type stuff like kills, wins / loss, etc.

There is a bug in which an unequiped weapon ( at least for my commander) cannot be re-equipee because as soon as I unequip my weapon the standard melee gauntlet is equipped. What ends up happening is that I have 2 melee gauntlets equiped. So my campaign with those guys is screwed. I would like any improvements you guys can think of. Maybe make a front for your games that includes achievements across all your games? But within the single games would be nice. Different armor types. Btw...for my bug I am running an HTC Inspire 4G ...latest OS...and I only have Template Assault. I would have upgraded today if not for that weapons equip error. Thanks.

Improvements..
1-Shotguns 2 space range but his adjacent squares with devasting power.
2- actual reloading of guns making any of the lower ammo guns viable.
3- different ammo types A-slugs, giving the shotguns longer range, B-hollow point dealing greater damage to more lightly armored creatures C-etc.... 4- regenerating shields for All guys with some type of display to indicate ...to buy later on at least... Higher armor on cp- suits.... 5-explosives specialists-can leave different types of charges behind in hallways to blast enemy...including proximity and detonations...maybe sacrifice either ranged, or close range weapons, (give us the choice) 6-I will post more soon...but just fix and polish up for now...one more before I go... 7- post rules, tips online, and just make a link within the game to click to for help...that way is accessible enough for moat of us I would say...we all have web browsers on our phones...

8-along with the rewards...and small emblem showing rank on the template......and benefits of rank(attack/defense bonuses...etc)....longer campains to really fleshout some guys...this may have been what you were thinking in your last post Cory, just throwing it out there... one more thing...I haven't programmed since making a MS-DOS BATCH FILE...I WOULD LOVE TO try and do some sort of unofficial apprenticemanship under you guys...these strategy games are what I love...and I can't crunch and balance numbers and spreadsheets with the best of them...any thing I could read or look at to get on my feet to the point where I could help you guys for the sheer sake of learning? Email me if you could possibly find time...and I will learn what I need to to help you guys make strategy games...I think I have some great ideas...and your type of game would be the best for me to learn...I'm all about strategy...and bringing the "turn" button back to games...This is written on my cell phone so I am very sorry about my punctuation and such. If I never hear from you, keep on making these games. And consider a 4x title like Masters of Orion....thanx for reading...

Make sure on touch screen phones that you can turn to face an opponent if they are right next to you (90 degree turn) I have had trouble with this several times

Another wish: customizeable skirmish squads. Maybe a point buy system that could allow you to bring in whatever classes you like just for skirmishes. There could definitely be balance issues (like three neptunes or multiple hydras) but that's a developer issue. I just fantasize!
Actually, I think I recall a bit of discussion about a reinforcement or recruitment feature which could also add sufficient customization.

Here is our current plan:
Based on the character distribution, we can have "Troopers (Soldier/Scout)" and "Commaners" and "Specialists"
Like some table top games it will be a ratio like 6::1::2 or something so you could Buy Recruits to expand a squad.

Error: In the light version mission: rift of larudhu mutiny on the cutter, i kill all the FDF and get on the bridge (orange square: the primary mission objective) and the mission never ends.
Suggestions: strafing for 2 cp was very good idea. Not sure whats in the elite version but if you have planet scaped mission vehicles would be BA. Landmines, tripwires, grenades, more melee weapons, hazards: alien traps holes fires ect. and mabey wounds that are area specific as to lower cp or limit arm usage i.e. loosing a weapon. Also the thing i love most blood lots more blood. ;D

I am having the same issue as tricky. I have killed all of the FDF forces and gotten onto the bridge but I dont get the winning screen and I am left running around the place.
EDIT: Now it seems on several games I cant complete orange tiled objectives. None of them have the usual lightning bolt on them either.
