Taking a break from Cerberus. The story is moving from the necessary character introductions and build up to actual confrontations between characters. I have to decide how I want to proceed as it gets pretty complicated from this point on.

Been moving text from the forum to my word processor. As I continue the story, will be going back to the previous installments and fixing some details in the hope of improving: pacing, spelling, and consistency. Don't expect anyone to actually go back and re-read, god knows I wouldn't, but wanted to let you know.
EDIT: Hmm found a lot of tiny errors as well as some glaring typos. Going to stop posting for the next week or two and get everything more aligned.
Some character perspectives MIGHT appear to be contradictory, but they have a basis in the character in question. We are all walking contradictions.

You know, while editing I wrote the outline for a twisty, bastard alternate flow for this Cerberus story ... which ... even though i love it ... I won't use because it would require a huge rewrite. Sooo, I think I'll just adapt it to a different character and a different story for the future. Pretty sure its going to be a CK story, but not one involving Cerberus at all. Just a human. Should be interesting if I can write the antagonist in properly.
A good story is defined by the antagonist. The stronger the antagonist, the more epic the hero looks.

If you're interested on the progress, the titles of the changed posts have changed from
Re: Cerberus: <chapter name>
to either:
Cerberus: By Hatred Born
or
Cerberus II: Through Madness Forged
There have been quite a few changes in both details, flow, and direction. Will try to get the rest finished by the end of the weekend.

Ok. Finished with the gross editing. All current posts have been provided with dialogue and changes that, hopefully, make more sense. The story, I think, flows better. Perhaps a little more predictable (which not sure if its good or bad).
Let's forge ahead!

Having a little problem finding time to properly edit my latest posts. Apologies, doing a lot of work the past few weeks. My posting time is a little sketchy for the near future. Finished 3 work related projects in a row, ahead of schedule. No good deed goes unpunished. Saddled with 2 more projects, and these aren't so easy to complete.

Will have to pause Cerberus. Been writing this story for 3 months now, and that has given time for RL work, and other necessary evils, to build up. My life has gotten ... interesting ... and so I have a lot of events to deal with. I think a month or two will get me through most of what I have to do. I want to finish this story.  rabid |
