Batting second is always advantageous ... you know what you need to get in order to win the game!  ... You're probably at a place where nothing even remotely scratches your paint. I think if I had found some other officer types, like pilot and military, I would have faired better. I haven't unlocked the ships of honour yet, so I have no idea if tgose are game changers or not. Eh, oh well. The challenge was fun and educational, plus unlocked some cool stuff. Thanks for the inclusion, contributor. |

This challenge really was great fun. I wouldn't mind doing the same challenge again in, say a year's time. Getting all my unlocks sorted in time for this challenge really made a big difference. How about making the next challenge a HOS? First one to find 20 original bugs during alpha testing.  contributor I hope that you intend to list the winning factions as well as the winners.  |

HateSolstice, I stuck with my tried and true Pilot, Mechanic, and Political Officer. In hindsight, I probably didn't need the political officer and I could have swapped her out with a military officer, but she has always been a critical member of my crew and I felt a bit of loyalty towards her.

slayernz The political officer seems more handy for the "play it safe" classes, I.e. merchant and smuggler. But you are way more experienced than I, so I'll jist say I'm probably wrong. As much as he annoys me, I can never seem to get rid of ol' turdlip. He's not even necessary if you have decent intimidate and carry luxury goods everywhere. I just end up feeling guilty for ditching him. Then I go blow up Steel Song ships, and everything seems to be better after. It's like they are the quadrant's stress balls. Very therapeutic.

No, in hind-sight, I should have not hired a political officer, because in this challenge, you REALLY don't care about embargoes. I never boarded, so didn't need a military officer either. I know what you mean about blowing up SS ships though - very therapeutic.

Been trying to post photographic evidence of my score for the last day now. How does one get the screen shot from the cellphone or the c drive (I can get it to both places) onto the forum post. The damn thing will post to Facebook but not forum. Clicking the insert picture link requests a url. The only pathway that I know of is the address of the c drive where the file is stored and I get no success from that.

LesleyrI had to use an SD reader and upload to imageshack. From there, once the image is uploaded it will give you several links, and one of them is the bbc code, or whatever it's called, for message and image boards. That's the one you copy/paste here. Hopefully that is what you're looking for.

Lesleyr you can also use the "attach" option when creating a post. Once it is attached you chose to insert it in to the post. Otherwise I upload to a public dropbox folder and then copy the public link and insert it when the dialog box for inserting an image pops up. You will have to change the https:\\ to just http:\\ though.

Lesleyr It really isn't complicated at all. The on-screen prompts tell you what to do. The best part is you don't even need an account to use their site. You could also do what Lurker said, but this phone is retarded and I hadn't thought of it when i transfered over to my PC.
