That would make harder difficulties much easier - awards too.

That isn't possible for me given the game design and code in the system. Just the way it was created when I designed it for my own use.

That would make harder difficulties much easier - awards too. I wish I could agree with you but I find that I wish for difficulty levels beyond impossible. However, Impossible is actually "player bonus 0" and the system cannot support a negative player bonus, so we are stuck with what we have

My bad. That wasn't my wish, but a reply to the previous post. I don't use quote as often as I should.

How about making it possible to buy, sell or trade goods with friendly ships you encounter.
Maybe only if you buy a 'docking port' upgrade.

Although it will open up a floodgate of "Hey, I'm a pirate! Why can't I disguise myself as a merchant and rob the other captain blind when I board him because he was stupid enough to think I would trade with him?", I think it's a great idea which we have submitted so many times here.
Idea for ST2? ;D

Smugglers are excellent at smuggling if you do your homework. You Rank with everybody.... I think you missed where I was going with this. I was alluding to real life smuggling in the sense that smugglers routinely create elaborate hiding spots in their vehicles so that they can hope to "beat" a search. If you're a smuggler and you get stopped for a search and lose your entire cargo you're a very bad smuggler! That's bad luck. No such thing as a bad smuggler. Unless you don't smuggle and do hunting missions all the time. Also, I'd like to see some more classes and stats.
