I updated the map, but didn't upload it to the thread yet. I'll wait and see if between you, me and narana we can't get a good count for E2A1. The only other ones that I know of are in the Underforge. There are a bunch in the Smith's Hoard and a lot in the Temple of the Arachnid (I counted 8 once and 9 another time) as well. We might have to coordinate routes through to make sure we've covered all the bases. There could be some in Construct Depths but I don't think the other levels have them because they are primarily "rough" cave edges.

>Updated to show the first few levels of E2A2 that I've played. >Also added background offsets for major story quests. Props to Cory Trese and fallen for challenging my map making skills with a huge inter-connected world!

contributor - the next few aren't going to help We're looking forward to adding an in-game map as one of our next priority features, so maybe we will save you some trouble! You're maps are invaluable.

One question. Will the places that you guys released as E2A2 be available without completing the E2A1 content. I mean, now that it's released, could somebody go straight to Granthorn or go find Erghanna without doing the Underforge or does that have to be done first? Obviously the Valent quest has to come after the Orcin caves, so it's not so much of a big deal with the Braeys family lands.

contributor - the Druid is not mentioned until you've completed the Underforge (it's busy in Brunehorn with all the trouble). Gholla Outlook and Granthorn are open from the beginning. In my opinion, this changes the optimal play-through path a good deal. A number of additional subquests and branches in these areas will also further mix this up. It was pretty simple when it was North or South with one main storyline on each. Part of the goal of this change in content packaging was to remove arbitrary geographic borders. Approaching and road and getting "This will be added later" is no fun. If there are barriers now, they are because the story isn't available (or due to thick ice).

Ah, you scurvy Trese Brothers dogs. I was so looking forward to not having to march all the way back around to Braeys land. Is there any point in leaving my group in Bone Pass and waiting for Summer/Storm Brothers to be released or should I just put them on the slow boat down the river and around? I've got another group in Braeys territory anyways. Might just go check out what's new up there with them.

contributor - you should be able to take the boat back to Riven Field very quickly. The ice will not melt in Bone Pass until Episode 3. The eventual hope is to make that actually set to the game date, so when summer arrives in the game, the pass would open and then close again as winter returns ... but, I think some people might hate us for it

Brutus Aurelius - yes, there are story-events that are just "You must wait" right now. There are no roads that you walk up to and it says "this road will open later." There is ice, but that is an actual physical barrier on a map and makes some world sense. Hope that helps explain!

Seasonal changes around the map would be great. Are any monsters strengths or magic tied canonicly to seasons? Awesome map for Ep1 contributor I'm just now in episode 2 so I didn't look at the map here yet. Trying to avoid spoilers Lol
