Was my issue with the two weapons also a bug?

When it comes to weapons / equipment / ammo, even implants now that I think about it. Maybe we could have an 'order in' option. So if the supplier does not have the item(s) you are looking for, you could get them to place a special order for you.
Possibly limit this to a select number of suppliers, or even make it reputation based (yours that is). It would obviously take them time to get the item, and you'd have to place a deposit, thus ensuring your willingness to make the purchase.
If you did not return within 24hrs of your order(s) arrival the supplier would on sell. Just a thought.
Anyone else getting a Syndicate like feeling from CK ;D

The price of Shells is seriously way too high. 500 for a pack, 1000 for a box. Is that like 100 per round? ah but we dont know because it is never explained how many rounds are in a clip when you buy stuff.
Anyway the price of ammo is completely insane compared to the cost of rewards for the quests. And when I am fighting Riot police and corporate soldiers I need better guns than pistols. I mean this bug might be mitigated if you gave out some missions with higher pay offs... like 30x the current pay offs.

also a problem I have with the combat system:
It takes a long time... and with they way heat is rigged u get jumped all the time. I've had my heat up to 532 so far...
anyway we need more varience beyond gangers and ganger boss. Mabey add in a guy with a knife? Also as far as I can understand you get one experience point (karma) for one encounter as long as u kill someone. You might want to scale the experience gained when you fight those scary riot police.

silverstone - more combat variance is coming. More advance types of drones, corporate shock troops, gangers with spiked base-ball bats, attach dogs, cyber-attack dogs, all sorts of goodies are cooking in the kitchen. Thanks for the suggestions! If your heat is that high, then you need to find ways to bring it to down (hotels, safe houses, entertainment). More ways are incoming. However, with heat that high, you are just going to keep attracting all kinds of negative attention. I'd suggest trying to get into a rhythm of play where you stop at a hotel more than you do now and sleep for a few hours, just to generally heat manage.

I mean this bug might be mitigated if you gave out some missions with higher pay offs... like 30x the current pay offs. I am not too bothered by the combat system, it is remarkably balanced for something so new and raw. But, I have a bit more knowledge of its guts than a lot of you so far, so I know how to tweak my characters. It may seem a little hard to make money at first, but I assure you that there are some very decent ways to get cash fairly quickly. Here is my suggestion: Do quests out of the Laughing Dog in The Fenns. Only do Delivery quests that take you to Commonwealth or Roxbury Crossing. Buy a decent weapon like the big ARES pistol and some armor as soon as you can. Then, start saving up to 5000 creds. Once you have this, go the Commonwealth and buy a Computer II at Claire Street Thrift Store. This will let you do up to 3 missions at once. Keep doing bunches of 3 missions from the Laughing Dog, but try and plan your routes so that they take little time. The gangers in these areas are pretty easy to kill once you have some gear and a bit of exp, so you should be able to level up and get some good cash pretty quickly. Once you have some cash stockpiled, go buy some decent implants and better guns/armor at some of the Downtown/MARS/AzTek shops. If you want a good gun, I suggest the MT Uzi sold in Downtown. With this puppy and the right character build, you can farm the crap out of riot police and gang samurai. These higher level characters will drop expensive loot, and even paydata disks fairly often. Check your V-Chips, and find a contact you have that will buy a specific type of paydata, then farm the crap out of them to get a bunch of the disks. Voila! You will be rich in no time.

So far, as a gunslinger I just pump all my points into firearms. I have no idea if that improves accuracy or not though. I also intend to increase agility now that I have hit 5 firearms. So what do you know that you aren't sharing?

Well, I have done some math and reverse engineered stuff, but I have also gotten the AP equations from Cory. I'll not be stingy and share it.
AP=(dex + intelligence + brawling) / 2 + 3;
or
AP=(dex + intelligence + firearms) / 2 + 3;
From what I have figured out on my own, your main accuracy comes from either your brawling or firearms skill, and the supportive stat.
If a skill is less than or equal to its stat, the skill will only take 1 *new skill level exp to raise.
If a skill is greater than its stat, it will take (skill - stat)*new skill level exp to raise.
The exp cost for raising stats is more complex. I haven't reverse engineered it yet, and cory hasn't shared it yet. What he has told me though, is that there is an inverse relation between stats levels and the exp cost of them. Basically, if you raise one stat up a bunch, all the other stats, even ones that are much lower levels, will take much more exp per level to increase. It is easy to be strong, or fast, but not both.
So, it is good to increase what stats you want to at a similar pace until you want to really excel at one of them.
Then, it is best to increase your stats before you upgrade your skills, to take advantage of the lower skill costs. That help any?

Actually, yes it did! I always forget that you're in contact with Cory via email too.
The numbers themselves I'm not too good with(math has always been my nemesis), but I get the concept. So, using my gunslinger as an example, I'll want to focus on firearms and dexterity yes? Which means I want do one point in dex and one into firearms? This is just for accuracy it "to hit".

I havent seen the accuracy or "to hit" equations yet, but from what I understand of accuracy so far, yes.
And yes, spending exp to up your dex by one point before upping your firearms one point is a good plan. Just be sure that if you want to up strength or intelligence or other scores, you do it while your dexterity is not too much higher than they are. Cheers!

Oh, any idea how much cybernetics impair experience gain? It never occurred to me that it even would before.
