So it's all gone? The entire game erased? I pray you had the sense of mind to back up the file?!? Fuk you Google. AoP was the first game of yours I ever played...... I'll be so sad if we never get it back. If you end up having to do refunds on the game, keep mine- I don't want it. This is shocking........ I'm so sorry..... We have the game, of course -- but we've lost our Reviews, 4.5 average rating, and the ability to update the game for Elite players. Google may let us re-publish the application, but under a different ID -- which means everyone who owned the game would have to repurchase, the game will be unranked in Google Play, etc. I can't believe I'm saying this, but thank God I'm on Amazon. O.o Just... Mind-boggling. |

Is there anyway that we the loyal TB fans can contact Google on your behalf?
How they could just delete an APP and threaten to lock out people who have paid for it after it's been on the play store and recieved numerous updates that they themselves approved is mind boggling.
Also did they just remove the Elite paid version or have they also removed the free version?

This is unbelievable. They removed a game that costs $2.99 and have a 4.5 average rating with many favorable reviews indicating that customers are content with it... And they didn't touch the free version. This is madness. AoP is a really great game and becomes better with every update. I'm glad I bought the Elite version. Can I email Google and tell them I want the game back? Also did they just remove the Elite paid version or have they also removed the free version? So it was a keyword thing? Can't they distinguish between a game about Pirates and, y'know, software pirates?
There are games on the Play store about selling drugs for Christ's sake!

Wow... Just... Wow.. I'm really sorry to hear about this Cory Trese and fallen. I really hope this all gets worked out ASAP. Not that we can do all that much we can do, but is there anyway for us to help the appeal along? This just seems reactive and ill thought out on Google's part. I realise they can't personally deal with every single issue that arises in the play store but you guys have a long track record of publication and work hard to fit in and compete in the store. You think if the mention of Pirates! (which were just that, mentions. You never claimed to be linked in any way) were a big deal they could just read you two the riot act and require the removal of the wording.... Oh well, life works like this at times. I'm sure everything will work out but it just sucks that you guys have to run into this kind of crap... Again, so very sorry this happened to you guys. |

They've given us the opportunity to republish and keep the reviews, ratings and continue to support existing players.
