Perhaps before we inform the other Houses of our plans for the fleet, we might find out exactly how much the carriers would cost per week? We do not wish to seem uninformed, certainly?

Tonight is the night we must come to consensus. Any thoughts as to what should be done?

I would argue that we could make great use of torpedo cruisers, and that doing so is a way we can keep costs down concerning fleet production. Adding one torpedo cruiser to each planet, supported by fighters could do an able job of holding the Sidtax at bay.

I think our tech research is on course, no need for any major changes.

As we are relatively well upgraded on our systems, we can either pursue further monetary gains, or we can once again halt major production and focus on driving research. Thoughts?

I will be unable to write today's report, my laptop is acting up on me, I'll take next week's if I can get it charged and working properly.

I'm in favor of halting construction for research unless we need to build ships or can get the agreement to colonize another planet.
Think it's essential we convince the other houses that continued colonization of the explored worlds at a measured pace is necessary to keep both the economy growing and increase our research potential.
We may not have outgrown the core worlds yet but a wider distribution across the quadrant will help insure a vital infrastructure and give us the needed industrial and economic base needed to eventually cleanse the quadrant of the Xenos.

I bow to your military recommendations, En1gma, as I usually have little enough success, and it seems that you will have to submit our votes, as I will be unable to spend much time in here today. Colonisation seems extremely important to me, not just to increase our empire, but the prevent the Xenos from taking worlds in the middle of Faction space. Torpedoes would seem to be well-suited for this.
