I know the scrolling lower right log is tuned to help with pass/fails, etc... but it would be great to have a 'log' button on the screen to be able to scroll back a certain amount of turns. I'm thinking of several times that I travelled through a sector and came out the other end with a lot of damage, poor health, etc... and not quite sure what the heck caused it. (I probably missed an ion storm or radiation in a sector, or something like that). Have you thought of making any type of warning system in the new HUD/UI? Cory mentioned on the twitch-cast that there would be options on how much info to display (which is great!) for the various player styles. I was thinking of a button kind of like the one in one of the combat screens, where you can get more info (can't remember if it's crew or ship combat), so I could scroll back xx number of turns to review the log. Oh, and when I pay the crew, leveling is displayed twice in the running log. Not a big deal. Oh, and when I pay the crew, leveling is displayed twice in the running log. Not a big deal.

So, broke and broken following a ship battle, I tried to take my expensive cargo and make one jump back to a friendly sector only to find out at the jump gate that "Cannot jump. Warp drive damaged" <- or something close... this was a game late late last night. I went back to an independent planet and didn't have funds to repair everything, but had just enough to repair the warp drive (from a list of 20 damaged things). Returned to the jump gate to only receive the same message. Returned to the indy planet and sold off some cargo at a loss and repaired everything, fueled up, returned to the jump gate and made it through. Sold the rest of my goods at a handsome profit, so still moving forward, although half my crew ditched me at the first friendly planet. Question: Are there other equipment quality checks at the jump gate? I'm assuming there was something else preventing me (like a 60% damaged hull, or damaged ??), but the notification only referenced the warp drive. Hope we can improve the notification or clarify the minimum requirements for jumping (aside from fuel)

Meanwhile, back on my Mac desktop... It decides that it will open on a 1600x900 window, regardless of game settings [full screen, windowed, different resolutions, will always open to a 1600x900 window]. Not a big deal, as you can make it full screen (or drag to any size window you want). Might be a Mac thing. Or compiler UI thing. Or a 'really big screen' thing. But interesting. So, on the desktop, there is no issue right now, as it's 4 wide on my starting crew of 25, and the filter button works fine. I suppose if add another 25 crew, it would exhibit behavior similar to my MacBook when scrolling to the bottom. Screenshots below, system setup/hockeyapp details below that: Mac OS 85C202B8-88D2-56A4-BB32-630D5D7273CF Craig Rittenhouse's iMac iMac 27" (Late-2012) 10.12

OK, some additional insight...
It appears that the hotspot for the FILTER button moves up a little, depending on whether you scroll down in your crew list.
On android and iOS, everything seems fine.
On Macbook, the hotspot moves off the top of the screen. (3 wide display of crew, 25 crew)
On Windows, I can successfully click the word FILTER, but if I click the 'filter funnel', the clicks go through to what's beneath (often changing the crew person's location from 'ON STATION' to 'ON PATROL' [Windows 10, windowed game, 1600x900, starting crew of 25-ish]
But on full-screen game mode, 2560x1440, my starting crew goes 4 wide vs 3 wide, and only hides one crew member on the last row. Everything works, so scrolling one row isn't enough to bump the hotspot off.
So the impact seems to depend on how many rows are being scrolled down for this to be an issue.
However, if I force the app to go 2 columns wide [Windows 10, windowed game, 1050x850] Everything works fine. I can scroll to bottom and use the filter button.

On my Mac Powerbook, if I open CREW and scroll down to bottom, the filter button doesn't work. Scroll back up, works.
Android and iDevices seem to be okay tho, they can use the filter button regardless of where the crew is scrolled to.
Edit: I think I'm going to add my bootcamp Windows to the Hockey app so I can crosscheck bugs I find...

I just finished dropping off a passenger for mission, traveled to a new contact, and trying to take another mission where I have to carry a passenger, but states "you do not have a passenger cabin".
So I check, and I have a Luxury Cabin. Is the passenger cabin something different? Tried to replace a Lance array with passenger cabin, but can't find an option. Or is the previous passenger still ghosting my ship?
*scratching head*

on my iPad Air 2, Galaxy Tab 2 8.5", I open the Galaxy Map and zoom out, but cannot zoom back in with pinching. Also the zoom out feels like a binary choice, there is no smooth scroll to being zoomed in or out, just one or the other.
Workaround is to back out of the map and reopen, which will reset to the normal zoomed in default.

Just curious what happens when stretching to reach a planet/planets with no water fuel? Nothing is displayed in the scrolling game log as of 1.0.19

Unless something has been keeping me from playing (covered up options, etc), I've kept away from UI feedback like overlaps. Pls let us know when you are ready tho, happy to whack away at it.

Could be an early talent choice for a navigating officer? Maybe costs 2 vs 1

My next time through I was able to continue the game; I played a few hundred turns before getting careless with spending on new titles and such, find myself broke.
So chalking it up to some obscure bug for now, especially since it couldn't be recreated/repeated. *shrug*
