Jumped back into HoS over the weekend, and started a new game. Really enjoying the new artwork, UI improvements, and additions to 'story text' (I love being able to immerse myself further with more dialog and insight, so big thumbs up). Forged through Episode 1 with the original 4 characters, about ready to jump into the trek to Brunehorn tonight.
As always, thank you guys for your continued hard work. LOVE this game :-)

I jump between iDevice and Amazon Fire at times due to update fixes that affect me, but just want to give some positive vibes to you for the wonderful surprise when I logged in tonight.

Awesome! Getting the itch to get back into my current game. All these improvements will really help the gameplay.
Now, all I have to figure out is my level 20 upgrades... :-)

yes, you are correct. And I do apologize; with your availability and willingness to chase things down for us, I need to do MY homework first before making requests. And maybe some sleep first too :-)

Just fired up TB to compare, the click feedback is perfect when selecting. I'm sure that will help alot when you port it back...
Sorry, I was just going from memory (and at 4am) on my initial question...

Has there been any discussion on choosing the 'active' character. When I select a character, of course the icon below (and weapons/abilities) change, but (especially when playing on mobile), I will sometimes mis-hit and not select a character, and either move them inadvertently, or use up a preselected ability by tapping on a combatant.
I was thinking if the character had a visual feedback when selecting (quick glow, or circle [like the first selection of a space prior to moving]), or even a click, it would prevent the mis-selects. Or perhaps a constant external glow?
It's completely ok to brush this off as needing to be more careful, but going back to my iPad game after a few months, it happened a few times and cognitive dissonance told me it wasn't my fault. And to my recollection, was something I needed to be careful with in TB as well. So maybe an aural feedback clicky thingy?

I'm not currently using Google Docs / Drive, but I'll email you the Excel Sheet. Perhaps someone there could make it available to others, if you think it's a good idea.

Learn to understand the combat mechanics, know what it means when an item says +8damage, know what standard and strong dice are, it might take you an hour orso to read it but it will benefit the choises you make ingame and make it a much more enjoyable experience when you start to see that the choises you made for your team are starting to shine. More information is here: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/6711/combat-mechanicsWith regards to possible respeccing, plan out and do inquiries and if you any questions just ask/shout/yell, I started playing this game 2 weeks ago aswell and I was like John Snow... Thank you for the link! I missed it, but am printing it out so I can finally learn about it :-)

Rashar Thank you for your thoughts, your detail and thought process is impressive. As this is my first run in the game, as well as my first RPG, I'm continually learning. Fortunately, I'm only playing on the easiest level, so I'm sure the game is forgiving to my choices to a degree. Due to work I had to put down the game for a few days, but hope to sort through the options soon (and not when I'm bleary-eyed after coding 6+ hours). But truly appreciate your taking time to look at my setup and replying. :-)

(cross-post from Adventurer's Journal) but getting ready to upgrade my team from 20 to 22... Down in the Smith's Hoard, spiders everywhere! And Vraes is kickin butt. postimg.org/image/8y1r5ub7n/pretty much through the floor after a half-dozen more fights, found a place to rest, and everyone is at Level 22. Good time to take a break, and consider my upgrade options... Level 20 was the previous time I was able to upgrade the team, current specs are listed below: postimg.org/image/92e2xu25t/Read more: startradersrpg.proboards.com/thread/13063/underground-attack-ratkin?page=1#ixzz42opEU1EpHaven't given any thought yet, taking a break for the day to get work done, but looking forward to moving the team to the next level. Any thoughts appreciated, I'll also post my Level 22 table once I'm done :-)
