En1gmaKrueger's Constitution modifier should be 0, not 1.

En1gma I downloaded through Adobe Acrobat and then saved it to Dropbox. If you want I'll send you the link for that. Brutus Aurelius if you want I can collect the PDF character sheets from everyone who shares them and put them all in my Dropbox so they will all be backed up and available from a common source. Sure thing. Then share the folder link so that I can do the same

xdesperadoLanguages have a slot on the character sheet. As for how you are attached to the ship, you have known each other for a few weeks now, and are under the employ of the Captain. johndrameyThere's no rush. We will start once everyone is ready and has a filled out character sheet.

Do we get both Warrior Class Skills AND our Background/Training skills? Not unless you already got access to them from Background/Training. That is for skill point costs in terms of raising skill levels.

The way it works is: Start at level 0 if the skill is mentioned in your Background OR Training packages Start at 1 if is mentioned in both Packages.

Brutus Aurelius , are there any special Professions available that we should know about? As a first time GM for this system, I'm going to stick to the basics. Still waiting for ship name suggestion btw

Well hot damn, looks my attributes are: STR = 13 (0) INT = 17 (+1) WIS = 13 (0) DEX = 13 (0) CON = 6 (-1) CHA = 10 (0) That's not half bad for a behind-the-lines piker. Sorry to be flooding with posts, just excited to play a PnP. *edit* So Brutus Aurelius , the player's guide says that I can replace one of my key stats with 14 if one of them is under 14. Since I want to be an expert, and the experts key stats are INT and CHA, can I jump my CHA skill up to 14? If so, I have the absolute perfect ship-board ninny build! That is OK with me.

That's what i was thinking Brutus Aurelius but I'm still confused as to what I can take. I haven't seen any sort of list of things unless I've missed it. Does it mean I can choose any other skill from the character sheet or is there something else I'm missing. Your class page in character creation lists class skills in the Class Traits table.

Just updated my post on page 4 with the gear\weapons\armor I bought. Still need to know about the Profession skill, not sure how it works. Having trouble understanding what the book means. Profession means that you pick a skillset that your type of occupation would need. An example would be an engineer taking Tech/Postech. Speaking of engineers, johndramey I think we still need one. I'll create a Captain for the ship and have them be the Navigator.

I just got back on the forum due to work being nutso, but if you are still amenable to it (and don't mind dealing with my work schedule) I'd be way, way down for jumping in on this. I'll need to look at that PDF you shared, but I've played tons of PnP and should be able to pick it up relatively quickly. I've always been more of a role-player and less of a min-maxer though, I hope that's ok. haha. Feel free to join! Character creation is pretty simple, and we are doing 4d6 drop the lowest.

Atlas ScreamsI like your character so far. Just remember Psitech is supposed to be rare nowadays, so I would recommend using those credits for some basic gear and weapons at the least.

Laspera looks like a perfect home world for my character concept... Edit: which vehicle type is most appropriate for a worker on that world? Probably ground vehicles, such as haulers.
