Sweet, I'm down. The Garden on Impossible sounds good to me and whatever is easiest to run decision wise is cool.
Faction wise the less used groups are a fun idea, personally I'm still fond of Zenrin

From the in-game library ... "As a Ship's Captain and Crew travel across space and engage in ship to ship combat or exploration, they gain XP. These points represent the advantages of practice and exposure. A Ship with a large XP total will be more dangerous in combat and less likely to fall prey to Xeno during exploration. In combat, XP gives a Critical Hit bonus to the Ship's attacks." One last thing, does Critical Hit bonus mean the ships are more likely to get critical hits or that critical hits do more damage? Thanks btw

So I'm getting back into Star Trader 4X and can't seem to remember what XP does? Like after my fighter takes down a ship, what does the XP effect?

So it's a cruiser then I guess? Or are the Templar ships unique?

I ask because, after doing some scouting for the Xenos home worlds and taking some hits on the way home I figured I'd heal it.
I try using my repair carrier and the message "Carriers can only repair Fighters" pops up. The Templar Explorer is a fighter right?

Just focus on habs for now, eventually you'll be able to use orbitals to help. Early on it'll be a pain but it'll pull it's wait eventually

Best use of a Soldier IMO, is Rallying Charge level 4, Burst Fire at 3, then Calling Shots raised up to at least 6, and then playing around with points in Grenades and Overwatch as you level up higher. I find that next to the Captain, a well trained Soldier is the best thing to have for all around Offense and Defense. Weirdly enough I do almost the exact opposite, grenades and Overwatch to hold ground and spare points in other stuff. I use rallying charge on my plasma troopers usually tho I don't have these up well atm

My Overwatch soldier is the backbone of my team so I push for the long assault gun. The rest I get as I need them

I don't remember the name but....that one where we started out with the normal soldiers, thought it was pretty cool how it showed the way they fought the xenos.
With the Narvidean attack on the Righteous Fallen's bridge as a close second

You can't miss those Tusks! Seriously! Things look vicious, I....kinda want to take one down with my captain's sword even if that is a bad idea.

I've been playing since....a few months after I got Skyrim in 2012 when I got my first smart phone. Ever since it's always the first game I download on getting a new phone. I don't play as much as I used to, ST4X and Templar Battleforce are my current games but...i always come back to Star Traders.

Scouts in general I have a hard time with, stealth wise anyway. Mine are usually used to pierce and slow enemies or run to objectives.
