I usually use them to play bodyguard to my captain or engineer. For example if there's a switch or objective and I gotta hold a point I'll send them and the captain. They make great close range support for turrets or Overwatch soldiers too, mopping up what gets through or survives the round

I like to assign role to factions, for example: in my current game
Thulun is primarily used for heavily armored railgun cruisers and lightly armored torp cruisers.
Alta Mesa is centered around thier fighters, equipped with only torps and light armor as they back up Thulun's Cruisers
De Valtos handles invasion ships and support Carriers and filling in missing spots when needed.
It's not too strict tho, like if I have a single Thulun planet way out it'll make its own ships.

hissrad - perfect! It will be good to see this Talent bump in the usage stats! Yeah I'm thinking it'll go great with an engineer with the heat vent ability backing up some Neptunes guarding a position.

The rebalance sees Fortify Position gain a few more buff effects, drop to 2 AP, but also include a -1 MP property. I think it balances out very well and very compelling, but further empowers its turtle style! I don't know dude, I've got a habit if turtling up longer then I should. This'll be make camping even more fun. All my defensive engineers are getting this

I'm currently a good ways into the audio book of Dark Imperium by Guy Haley, I'm liking it so far. It's done a good job of showing Roboute Gulliman as not just a Primarch but also as a man. Id give it a solid 8/10, it's really good but does have a few little things that bug me but....thats just me nitpicking.

I'm still waiting for ST2 to get on my phone so I've been playing a lot of Battleforce. Would be badass to get a set of missions late game that focus around setting up stuff to link quadrants. Maybe throw in some unique enemies like ancient Narv slaves or a new species of Xenos.
I'm probably getting carried away. XD

There any chance we'll see any crossover stuff? Like maybe Luthor or Nyra in ST2 or maybe a few missions where our Templars work to set up the thing that links Quadrants?

If you have Steel Song as one of your factions, put their worlds at regions where you think Xenos are most likely to invade. SSC worlds start with a defensive structure (Steel Fortress 1), so that will allow them to last a lot longer as a new colony in risky space then any other faction would. This is good advice, I'll usually do this. Another tactic I like is colonizing a planet further out, usually a white star. Use with Steel Song and you can make a quick fortress system, it'll draw nearby xenos in and give you an early warning.

I've been looking into actually getting a Warhammer book. Problem is finding one. Right? Got mine second hand from a friends dad. If your getting into it I'd recommend Horus Rising as your first book. There's a bunch of audio short stories on YouTube. Its a good way to get a feel for the setting imo

You guys read Warhammer 40k stuff? I just finished the book Scars. It follows my favorite Primarch and his Legion as they find their way through the early days of the Horus Heresy. I loved it, finally have a way to explain why I'm a fan of The Khan and his White Scars.

I ended up finishing this play through, this build was my favorite so far. Captain did have a hard time on Narvidians but got through. At the end my Paladin was BADASS. Shrugging off blows that'd kill other templars

You can allways pirate it. But i'm guessing your an honest person poryg. And guess what i'm stuck on the last battleforce mission the damn hive mind. I'll get it tho. When I pirate something I always try to buy it eventually. Like...I pirated the audio book for SCARS but I've bought the Hardcover version of the book since. That one was a bitch, I ended up having my Captain and Nyra go opposite directions around the room hitting the nodes while I kept a couple Neptunes and a second paladin on that center platform for when its head was exposed

So I've been wondering.... Is there anything like a uniform color for different classes? Like should soldiers be mainly green while paladins are mostly blue?
Or do the Templars just paint their armor any random color?
