The Thulun stock has better engine/sail to hull ratio by just a bit and better cargo. Substantially better crew and torps vs the Jango stock.
What are you using to post ss on here?

Speaking of the Jango, which one am I looking for? Is it one I can buy or have to find. I have occasionally seen Jango variations , but none beat the stats of Thulun Honor.

If Cory can run it , I would give the stats needed so he could run it through. I'm a level 17 right now.

Be gentle with the criticism, I'm an autoworker, not an author and I broke my fan fiction cherry.

After a short journey from Thulun Prime to Steel Prima, Pilot Wakesail of the Dark Messiah II sets the vessel down with barely even a jostle. Nodding to First Mate Sherbet and casually stating "Gear set and I took the liberty of calling off the tender vehicles due to the ongoing war and embargo with Cadar."
"Soft as a Rychart hull, Wake." Responding, through laughter. Casual language with each other was not uncommon on this vessel. It is , after all a Thulun privateer vessel and the Pilot, First Mate, and Captain Fourth Horseman have been together from the beginning almost 60 years ago. Formal military formalities are lost on three ex factory slaves from Thulun Prime. "Where is Hourse? News downloads are reporting a shortage of electronics. With the price offered we can afford to break the Cadar embargo, especially after to supplying the lux goods to Thulun Prime. Damn cred stick is going to get a workout."
While propping his feet up on the console, "Cap been in his quarters the entire trip here. Only seen him briefly in galley."
Sherbet walking briskly down the corridors avoiding exited crew exiting the ship, no doubt for a spice hall and maybe a whore house, wonders to himself on the ship's travel to this out of the way outpost. It is not like the captain to travel without a purpose. More concerning to the First Mate was it was even more unlike the Captain to not let the other two know the purpose, even of it was to remain between the officers only.
Approaching his friend and Captain's door, opens it without knocking and enters as briskly as he got there. "Horse, we need to discuss some news." The last half of the statement falling off finding the captain sitting in the dimly lit room, smoking a cigar, and seeing a small crate on the table. "I've seen this before, Horse. What type of drek is going through your head that you are being unusually distant with Wake and me? Why have we come here?"
Not turning around and answering his friends question in a roundabout way, "We are here to return something,..." Motioning to the crate, "Inside that crate is my Steel Song miltary uniform along with a data tablet saying I won't be needing this. Also on that data tab is an image of me in a Cadar uniform titled "Expect for me to be adding more rank insignia."
"Horse, why break from Steel Song? We are Thulun. Thulun is not at war with Song." Standing up, taking a long pull on his, what is now apparent to Sherbet, expensive Cadarian cigar responds, "That's my fucking point. What in the Narvidian hell has Thulun done over the past 60 years? Not a damn thing, they have rewarded us with some recognition, but Prince Thulun has gotten to used to out service." Exhaling the thick aromatic smoke continues as he smiles "Cadar has been at war with Song for a good long time and have us 4 times the recognition for supplying records aquire in the spying on Baza Prime."
Smiling, Sherbet asks "Can I go with you to deliver that box?"
Handing the cigar to his longtime friend, "Yes you may, my friend. On our way back we will stop back in Thulun Prime and advise Prince Thulun that he may get his uniform returned if he does not grow a pair of balls and show them to the quadrant."
Taking a huge toke to the point of slightly choking responds "The loyalty of thieves, FOR CADAR!!! I'll inform the crew to return quickly to the ship for we have a war to assist."

So now I have problems. Not with my pirate captain, more so the one controlling it. I love Shadowrun so, naturally, CK is screaming for me to play it. I want to get my crazy pirate up to 20 and figure out how to play a smuggler or merchant. Damn you, Trese brothers for making a in depth high replay ability game. I have 4x and am impatiently waiting ST2. I have not dug deep into 4x yet.
Back to this thread, ideas for upgrades on my Thulun Honor ship. It does not need sails or engines and I have not had any problems with the amount of torps. It already has an escape shuttle and the W/F tanks. I am a gun bunny pirate.

This captain is Thulun, but Cadar is the highest positive rep I have. I have a permit, license, and lowest rank in all but Song and DV. Rychart I attack on sight, solar war or no.

Inspects the damage done by the torp. Friends with Song was coincidental. I just spent a good number of years spying on Rychart. Javat, Cadar, and Song were in spy wars with them. Thulun joined after Cadar stopped.
I have the escape shuttle and W/F tank on the Dark Messiah II (Thulun honor ship) is 2eh and 2sh already and both sails and engines are over 30, so no need to up those. I also have plenty of torp to pepper my target before closing.

Can you see him through the debris and salvage ships around Baza Prime? Rychart and DeValtos have bounties out on him; he is welcomed in the other 4 factions.

Master Pilot Captain Fourth Horseman allegedly captured an Admiral Raider as a prize from a bounty hunter that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The captain has christened it Dark Messiah. Fourth Horseman's current whereabouts are unknown. Although not a wanted criminal, Fourth Horseman is considered a pirate with reports of giving no quarter to other captain and crews. Extreme caution is advised. Fourth Horseman flies Thulun colors.

As a pirate, I become the gingerbread bear when an alien locates me. Coincidentally, the name of my smuggler captain ships. "Run, run, try if you dare. You can't catch me; I'm the gingerbread bear".
I want to say thank you to all who responded to my distress call. I was getting frustrated and over looking what was right in front of my face because of it. I'm noticing the higher levels the longer the startup before hostile engagements.
I picked up a military officer. Is he just for bloody boots style or does he give us gunboat void stalkers a bonus?

Well Cadar and DeValtos were nice enough to get along enough for me to take advantage of a chemical shortage on DeValtos prime and running spice to Cadar Pavonis. Made enough money to buy any pardon I need for a while and I skill up. Just stay away from damn indy pirates and the damn alien lol.

Mr. Meow , thank you. I was doing all what you said in the easier levels... smh @ why I didn't catch it myself. I usually only use stealth if I'm taking torps up my exhaust vents from a butthurt Rychart bounty or military officer. As a pirate, I want encounters. I must be able to maintain range as they try to close, gun the engines out, take my loot, blow the captain and crew out the airlock. Thank you my Cadar friend.

I think you caught was I was doing wrong. Looking at my current crazy pirate , I'm lvl 4, Pilot 13, Tactics 12, Stealth 4. Rest are wherever they are at start.

Now you got me to think. In the easier levels avoided most combat until my pilot was about 15. I have a newb pirate going now and I'm avoiding most combat ignoring indy merchants. Looking at your chart I see you stop at adding stealth at a point , although your lvl 90 put more back into it for some reason. Would you advice me to focus pilot up to 17,18 while sacrificing a bit in my tactics?
