I rolled this looking for a good place for a Cadar MO but this would be a great map for an Explorer of just about any faction... There are profitable Indy systems in almost every single quadrant, and the balance is really nice. The sector in the North is packed with Wild Zones, and many a Tradeway to be found. st-v01-33-2-27343362

st-v01-33-2-185712907 Map is close together for story missions and most house conflict. Thulun and Mok have nice system setups that include Indie stations. The houses are clumped more than usual so you get nice trading and possibly long hostile areas - both of which I like.

I like this map. It has neither long isolated stands nor messy weblike sections. The faction balance is nice too, since every faction has more than one quadrant. Map seed: st-v01-22-6-115450971 Edit: I think this may be my favorite map I've ever seen so far. I found it by rerolling the map every time I checked how many quads each faction had and saw one of the factions had only one. I think that took me at least 15 minutes.

start as Thulun. Your starting quadrant provides Kloxian Medical bays and the Thulun quadrant next door provides Iridlaentine - suggest Merchant build and you might want to choose contacts that supply rare goods Basically just get enough rep with your contacts so that they will sell you the rares and then make a fortune - note that sadly the Kloxian medical bays are not much in demand, but there are 15 worlds in those 2 quadrants that will take the Iridlaentine You can afford to be choosy so sell at refineries for around 2.5k profit per unit The green circle is your stating quadrant if you choose Thulun Would help to put the seed in I guess - st-v01-40-2-187174471

The Great Tangle: Each Clan has only 3 or 4 quadrants, while each Syndicate has 6. This is deliberate, and took a while to generate a map with this sort of Clan-Syndicate balance. I usually make enemies with the Syndicates; my intention in generating this map was to give me plenty of enemy territory to fight in. One interesting feature is that there are 3 Moklumnue-controlled quadrants strung together in the top left. It looks like a place Moklumnue merchants might go for low-risk trading.
