Those are Captain names, lol Improvise, adapt, overcome. Modern problems require modern solutions. Though really, that's pretty smart.

En1gmaThat's a great design. Sort of reminds me of the big dipper only much bigger. I really like the navigational paths.

I named this map Fractured Stone. Many of the starting quadrants have a lot of wild and Indy zones. The Zenrin starting quadrant has the most Indy zones, at a quantity of 4, and the Steel Song starting quadrant has 4 wild zones. Seed: st-v01-22-2-1258282
Edit: The Javat starting quadrant has an Indy High Tech Ind. zone with a Trade Law of 2. It's a great place to sell artifacts. I think some of the other faction starting quadrants have Indy zones with Trade Law low enough to sell artifacts, but they aren't economy types that demand artifacts, unlike the one in the Javat quadrant.

resistor I like that map. Any of those wild zones in the starting SS quad high danger? I need to unlock some of the explore/artifact/xeno fight unlocks on my phone. Also is the Indy HTI with law 2 in the Javat quad next to the SS starting quad? That could be pretty ideal for those unlocks.

I'm not sure about the zone danger levels off the top of my head, but the Javat starting quadrant is indeed next to the Steel Song one.

Well my captain didn't get the last two unlocks before biting the bullet, so I'll give them map a go for 30 artifact finds and 20 xeno crew combat victories. Though the second one might be easier in ship combat.

My dream map finally showed its face. Everyone has a starting quad under 10 danger, except for Mok (who got stuck with a 16 but whatever) there aren't any stupid branches, wild zones are on the outside, the Rim is accessable from anywhere. st-v01-13-2-105894579

Really nice Zenrin start for people who like small maps. st-v01-15-2-116986149 You start on Zenrin Prime, which is also home to a FDF Commander if that is one of your contacts. (My other starting quad contact was the Academy Doctor). The place wants to generate Device Freaks. So with hardly any re-rolls you can get one of your fighters to start that way, if that has appeal. I have at least 6 of them now. In the Future I should be able to get Military Officers who are device freaks from my FDF Commander. It is 211.17 and I have Estelle Brokstrom on board now that I have cleaned up local quandrant only business, and we are going to visit that Orbital she wants to see. I already have 203.9k in the bank, and I have already bought one prison cell and one passenger cabin for my Juror. I am a Spy.

And it is somewhat later and I know more about my crew. Blue star == device freak. 11 of them so far, plus one who sadly got killed in ship combat. Looks like I can have an entirely freakish away team and officer corps if I want it.

How did you get a map to generate device freaks? Or is that a Zenrin bonus? Thx

The Spy profession seems to boost device freaks. I am not sure that Zenrin is important, but you want to start on an orbital or hi-tech planet, says fallen. But I got this result on a Pop planet, so go figure ...
