And back to the OP. You're a lame Star Trader if, when looking at screenshot you just took, you tap the "back" button (on the image) and can't figure out why nothing happens.

You're a lame star trader if you sold all your harvested goods in the exchange, but lifted off and forgot water-fuel, and lose a morale point while having to land again to get some. Doubly so if between liftoff and landing, a trade embargo kicks in!

Is it lame to not move past the start screen because you love the music there, and moreso if you plug in your PC speakers to hear the depth you missed from the phone's speaker? If so, I'm one of the lamest of all time!

You're a lame Star Trader if you go out hunting aliens without repairing your guns first and don't even have a full crew.

Your a lame star trader if you post a bug about your hold accepting more cargo than you have space because you forgot that you have a water-fuel tank upgrade. Doh!

He was a lame star trader because he thought that using the little crab claws on his little ship to grab and headbutt a ship 3 times his size was gonna knock you out. The problem was, someone recently gave him ancient video of an event called "pro wrestling", and after watching them all, and trying their moves out on his crew, he failed to realize that the physics of the action gave him far less margin for error and equal damage did not mean equal proportion. The investigators think there may have been spice and vudka involved, but may not be able to determine this from an autopsy, because the vacuum of space is not kind to human bodies.

contributorIt's not about how big your ship is, it's what you do with it! (he just did it wrong)Funnily, there was this Level 4 dude in a fast ship who managed to repeatedly ram my Carnifex causing $50k in damages. I was not amused.
You're a lame star trader if you jumped at a contract to Pegasus Outpost that pays shiploads of credits, only to die from mutiny because you ran out of creds for water-fuel on the way. (this has happened multiple times already; apparently I don't learn my lesson)

You are a merchant with almost all you xp in charisma and stealth and try to fight aliens... And when you see that you can't win to try to hit surrender but it's a little too late

You're a lame Star Trader if you buy up all the commodities in some rinky-dink little independent exchange and then exit out looking for the destroy button, because you mistakenly thought you were pillaging a nice fat merchant ship.

After starting a new captain to earn the Hardcore Elite award you swap your heavily damaged starting ship at level 3 for that nice Pirate Skylift you just defeated. Of course what makes it really lame is having over $80,000 in the bank, rank 1 with all three clans and being Iin orbit of Gamma-Javat II at the time.
