You're a lame Star Trader if you forget ST RPG is a thing after you purchase Age of Pirates Elite. 😣

Your a lame Star Trader if you have an expired urban zone contract that you are about to do, but hit "not ready yet" to check how much time you have, causing you to lose the contract, and then proceed to accidently buy a pardon from the faction you were operating against.

No torps. 😠And I can't target engines. Haven't figured out how to disable via cannons yet, so spamming Board / Duel. It makes me sad. The bright side is keelhauling enemy crews and feeding them to the sharks and Krakens by forcing them to walk the plank.

You're also much more reliant on wind and picking the best route through wind to get to your destination, the kraken are actually defeatable (I say this as Aliens where the end-all-be-all for ST and are somewhat less so in AoP), and trade has a unique set of rules that ST didn't (like gold only being sold at certain ports). It's very much it's own game, but I love it all the same.

You're a lame star trader if you have a high-paying, long-range contract (or worse yet, two along the same route), and while making a refuelling stop near your destination you notice a very nice trade alliance that lets you gain lots of rep with a faction that so far has been hating you, so you pause to make a trade or two. Unfortunately, that "trade or two" involves buying and selling a large quantity of Artifacts (to pump your rep), and shortly after you step out of the Exchange, you get a message that both your contracts have expired. So not only you sold the Artifacts at a loss, now your anticipated contract payoffs are gone, too. And the rep loss from losing the contracts undid the rep gain from selling the Artifacts. Argh!
(Moral: never underestimate the amount of time that passes per transaction at the Exchange!)

Shameful confession: I took a pic of a urban zone, and a few days later looked at it for a story. I saw the notification that there was a bucks shortage and immediately starting tapping the Exchange button to look at prices.
Somehow I forgot that it was a screenshot, not the game itself.
Fail.

You're a lame star trader if you haven't played any TB Game (longer than five minutes) within 24 hours. AH! That makes me one! Must... play... Star Traders... or one of the others. But I can't... my phone's gonna die soon... and my charger is broken!
